Installing the Oracle Virtual Machine was okay but ran into some errors, guess that is where problem solving 101 comes into consideration. My initial idea was that it would be seamless but found my way around it. Mr Raphael did not mention about running into challenges like that but regardless it was an easy to understand lecture.

finding it hard t understand reasionon behind this. considering its a beginers course i thought instructure will explain what sql dba is about etc but he just goe s and starts installing stuff where i cant even break it down

Hi Raphael,
Previously i was unable to install SQL in my PC. After watching this tutorial now I am able to install and configure the SQL Server by my own. But Still Need Some PRACTICE.

Very good at explaining detail on step-by-step installation (VM, SQL, Server OS), configuration about Domain, and SQL statements. Recommended for entry level with practical approach. Thank you so much for your lesson.

Pretty nice course! Even I have a related knowledge about SQL Server, I had learned along the course new topics related to the OS that I hadn't known before and also for some statements of T-SQL. Was a productive time doing this course. Highly recommended if you want to make your first steps about how to be a DBA.

The course is a good match for what I am trying to learn and work with, but the videos are pretty cut up and some are out of order....or he's doing things twice...like going through the software we're going to download after we've already downloaded the software.

Not a good match. This class should be called how to install a virtual environment for Microsoft SQL. In the first six lessons, the class has installed and built a virtual environment. There is nothing to do with SQL Server. This is not how to become a Production SQL Server DBA, as the instructor says at the beginning and end of each lesson, it is how to install and configure a virtual Windows environment. There is nothing Production or SQL Server or DBA about any of this.
