The Apache Tomcat server is an open source, Java-based web application container that was created to run servlet and JavaServer Pages (JSP) web applications. It was created under the Apache-Jakarta subproject. However, due to its popularity, it is now hosted as a separate Apache project, where it is supported and enhanced by a group of volunteers from the open source Java community. A web server is, of course, a program that dishes out web pages in response to requests from, for example, a user sitting at a web browser. This was one of the best courses I've ever taken on Udemy. A lot of information here to absorb and practice. Builds from basic to more complex. Well worth the time and effort. The instructor is very clear and concise in explaining and showing good examples that will help to learn and understand more about Tomcat. The instructor makes it a point to discuss potential errors that may occur which I find very useful. The material was comprehensive and well-presented. But more than that, I valued the little personal moments the instructor shared. It made me feel connected to the lecturer as if he were teaching me in real life. I'd recommend this course for anybody wanting to learn Tomcat.

Great in-depth Tomcat course. Clear and concise. I really like the to the point explanation for each topic, it makes me understand the brief concepts but still leave some space for me to explore it myself. Things are taught with so much easy and fun that learning stuff was so much fun. I would totally recommend this course to anyone!

Excellent tomcat Course. I am an experienced software engineer - and I can tell you that I am impressed by the explanations that this instructor has done. He is thorough and I can see a high level of professionalism in his approach. As I am taking his class, I feel as if I am in a boot camp, with all other attendees. I am also impressed with the level of practicality- here there is no "technobabble", everything is explained in a language you will understand, then you can practise.

This is the first video course I have ever finished. Why? Because the explanations were very comprehensive and I just wanted to learn more. The materials are great; and the explanations are very clear and understandable. A Thumb up for the instructor. It has made me grow so much interest in apache tomcat.
