What is this course?

This course teaches you the VOCABULARY and GRAMMAR which are essential for a high band score. It also teaches you how to get a high score for COHERENCE AND COHESION and TASK RESPONSE.

This IELTS Writing Task 2 course will help you prepare for both the General and Academic IELTS exam.

The lectures succinctly address the conditions one is likely to experience in the exam, and the methodologies used to explain the subject matter are perfect. This is for real a course prepared by an examiner. In addition, the tips are impressive and applicable. For example, the suggestion (tip) to think majority of problems and solutions in relation to government, health and economy is extremely powerful, and will definitely save a candidate a significant amount of time and help him/her come-up with persuasive points. Finally, the colour illustration helps me a lot in understanding the anatomy of task 2 essays. Thank you, now, after only watching three lectures, I already start developing a mind map for my IELTS exam task 2 essay.

this is a very detail oriented course to help you achieve at least 7 in writing, but you have to go through all the materials and practice them a lot in order to be able to execute them in the test

I would like to thanks the tutors for creating this content and useful course. I have learned a lot from this course and still learning by going through the videos and model answers. An amazing course. However, It requires a lot of time and you absolutely you should put in an effort in order to progress. Watching videos only want be enough, you should print out the lectures and write down notes, review them often and try to use the new vocabularies and structures in your own essay. This course is many about provide model answers for different types of writing task 2 and explaining these answers in detail. For each model answer the lecturer provides 6 videos. the first two videos covers all the new expressions, vocabularies, phrasal verbs, idioms etc in order to teach you how to grade high in lexical resources. the third and forth videos covers the grammar used in the model answer. The fifth video explain the coherence and cohesion in the essay which basically means who the sentences, ideas and paragraphs are linked and connected together. The last video (sixth video) discusses the task achievement which means how the essay addressed all the aspects of the question. The previous structure is for sections 4 to 14. however there is an extra section (section 3) which contains more model answers but there is one video for each model answer. I really encourage anyone who wants to take IELTS to give this course a try since it really worth it. However do not expect to improve if you do not put in time and effort. Good luck for everyone :)

A list of native phrases used in writing sentences would be beneficial i think that is the differnece between the essays we write and those that are found here.Lot of effort has been put which is definitely appreciated .Expecting lot of quality essays in the near future.

Very detailed course that explains how IELTS Writing task 2 essays should be approached to get a high grade. It is very difficult to find a proper band 9 essays on web so this one extremely helpful especially for those who are seeking band 7 and above.
