Thanks, that was very interesting. I was thinking of setting up a Linux VM but this is a lot easier. Some things I would like to suggest: In Ubuntu show how to upgrade git (not Github CLI) to the latest version, Info on display/configuring IP address in Ubuntu (access apps from other devices on the same network other than host Windows machine), Wish list - more web dev topics (even just the most basic shell example): Python3/Flask/API/Postman PostgreSQL Docker Node/Express .NET core/Visual Studio/MVC Thanks, that helped a lot!

Let’s say I am a bit disappointed. I thought this course is about WSL 2 and it was advertised with “complete”. This course is neither complete nor really about WSL 2. It explains how to install WSL 2 and different Linux distributions and that was it, practically. No background information, theory, or other useful tips. The content about WSL 2 ends with section 2, maybe 3 (out of 12). Main content of the course is giving a light introduction in using the Linux shell, setting it up, and customize it. Using other tools (not WSL 2) and learning about the preferences of the instructor. I should have really looked into the course content and description. That’s on me. But I was curious.

many of the little sections at the start are unnecessary at this point of the instruction. Most people will not understand it anyway on a beginner type course. Just get on with it.

Very useful WSL2 course. There is no course in Udemy dedicated to WSL. Only linux courses some of which have small sections for WSL. So thanks for this well made WSL course. only a couple of outdated things in WSL which can be figured out easily.

If you want a course to install/configure WSL2/linux distribution, you will not be deceived. The Web development and hacking section is just a overview of a couple of tools but not more than that. I found the course fun and interesting. I configured my WSL/Debian config with zsh and oh my posh. My linux console experience on WSL2 is way better with these tips.

I've known WSL2 for some time, but never used it as a development environment. The reason is that I didn't understand the workflow how to use it from Windows VSCode or Windows Terminal. This course explained them step by step and was very helpful for my understanding. If possible, it would have been better if there was an explanation in the form of using Ubuntu Desktop, but I was able to create an environment with Ubuntu Desktop by referring to the explanation for Kali Linux. The address assigned to the Linux side in WSL2 is private, so when developing an application that links with another PC or network device, I think it would be very good if there were methods such as how to configure the WSL2 network in the course. increase.

Things that are really simple the tutor takes a lot of time to make explanations. For example how beautyful a theme is, but when it comes to using the commands just goes "click click, this is no problem...."

Really good course, some sections could be more fleshed out. Some of the commands were harder to find, this could be made a little bit easier with a link on GitHub for a gist with a simple readme for written instructions. All in all good course, learned something new and it's definitely worth the money.
