The Complete Guide to Overwatch

It was well put together, as a starting out player im sure this will be beneficial. i have only being playing a few months, and everything you mentioned in this course is something i already knew. i honestly thought there were some tricks like strategies specific to maps, or good hero picks for maps, but it was generic in that regard. but nonetheless, its a good starter, and i would love to get to top 500. i disagree that it is you as an individual player to look at mistakes, as it is a team game and not a single player game. but also being in denial is real and a lot of players are at this stage. thanks for the course, its a tad expensive for the course, but i suppose it could have cost more.

Little information about the topics so far, not really in depth about what to do against counterplay etc..

I found this good as a foundation to learning the basics of the game and characters of the game. It would be nice to see updates with new characters, maps, etc.

It actually teaches basic things from the game and a few mechanics. It is very basic and ideal for new players as gives you early game sense, but i think it might not be the best for advanced players as gives very basic knowledge from the game.

At the point when I was asked to leave feedback - we have only gone over 3 heroes and a brief overview of the map types... so...

The instructor is have too much expertise and the quality is excelent, however the course is too basic. There is no strategies, no tips for assemble a good compositions (team), or heros habilities in depth. For begginers, the course is perfect, on the other hand, there is no new informations for intermediate/advanced players. I would sugest add "for beginners" on title.

I was hoping for a more in depth discussions about team compositions, and map attack/defense strategies. Over all geared for the very beginner player, didn't bring much for experienced players

Just finished the course! While I do have prior knowledge of Overwatch! For all the new info I gathered (being a support main) It was really helpful! Thanks for all the help! Can't wait to see more courses in the future!

Course is great for people who are learning and getting into the game. Slayer gives short & simple introductions to heroes and it's easy to keep up with the course. Course also have useful information for players who are consistently trying to improve their ranks!

I want to preface this by saying that my feelings regarding this course have nothing to do with Nick's presentation of the course content. I've seen his YouTube videos, and truly believe that he is an excellent coach. There's no doubt that he's an experienced Overwatch veteran who knows what he's talking about. The reason why I'm giving this course a low rating is because of the lack of advanced lessons. I picked this course up on sale for $13, thinking that the advice would be something akin to the coaching sessions he has given on his YouTube and Twitch. I find that watching these sessions, even if I have no intention of playing the specific hero outlined, helps me develop a deeper understanding of the game. The thing is that most of the content in the course is stuff you can learn within the first few hours of play, or for free in YouTube tutorials. For a course with such a steep price tag, I would have expected more than this. Nick could have gone more in-depth about the role of each character in the game, player positioning, and team composition. Another thing he could have done is analyzed professional gameplay to help illustrate his points. I'm personally glad I picked up this course, yet would never have paid full price for it. I'm a gold player, so some of the suggestions given have helped me in-game. I also like some of the resources that Nick has provided. Yet, having such a steep price tag for such a small amount of knowledge gained, I simply cannot recommend this course to anyone. I assume that the content of this course will change a lot over time. Overwatch is a competitive game, which means that the developers are constantly tweaking it and adding new heroes. With this in mind, I'd be happy to revisit the course in the future, as well as reconsider my rating. I understand the difficulty of putting such a course together, yet these issues take from the value of this course.
