Clean data in preparation for data analysis

Use dynamic formulas to conduct detailed data analysis

Use beautiful and best-in-class formatting

Structure your workbook to be clear and auditable

Why take this course?

Do you want to become known as the 'Superstar Analyst' on your team? Want to deliver rapid analysis and insights, but unsure where to start with the various formulas? Still slowly clicking around in messy Excel workbooks?

Excel mastery is an upfront investment that will save you thousands of hours throughout your career. This was one of the best personal investments I ever made which was further honed as a BCG consultant and Amazon PM. I would like to pass on my key learnings.

Consultants, Business Analysts, Data Analysts, and Business Intelligence Engineers pride themselves on rapidly delivering beautiful, dynamic, and structured analysis. If you work in this field, mastering Excel is essential.

After this crash course, you will know exactly how to do that. We will walk through examples of all the important formulas a superstar analyst needs to know, and the little-known shortcuts to do it faster than anyone else.

By the end of this course, you will:

  1. Master all the important formulas in Excel that matter, without getting overwhelmed by less important details

  2. Know the best-practices used in consulting and tech business analysis

  3. Understand when and how to use each formula - you will shine in delivering workbooks that are beautiful and insightful, not just correct

  4. Note: This course does not include VBA, Statistical Analysis, or data links to other programs (e.g., Python, SQL)

I like the way the instructor explains the differences between the more complex formulas like sumifs, averageifs, pivots, and index matching - I was always confused about when / how to use what before but this helped clarify

Great course - it covered all the key formulas I expected and more, and gave me shortcuts that I found too hard to follow in the past. Lucas does a good job of repetition and reviewing / incorporating past lessons in the later sessions in the course.

Good list of formulas, no more and no less than what I need. He goes through it very quickly but I didn't feel like it was too fast to follow at any time. This is a very concise course.

Good and clear explanations of index match, pivot tables, and the countifs functions. That's what I needed the most

Waaaay basic stuff. I don't even understand how does this costs >89€ outside coupons. Probably of value only to people starting now. You can't be showing such basic stuff and naming the course "for data analysis". Nothing was analyzed here. Showed a few formulas, shortcuts and formatting (for god's shake). This is closer to Excel advertising by showcasing a few things it can do.

Great course for data analysis! Exactly what I was looking for. The other Excel courses tell you the functions but I never understood how to apply them for practical purposes. Lucas moves quickly but reiterates complex ideas enough so it helps me remember. There are good examples and assignments to practice. Note: This course doesn't help for financial modelling - this is for data anlysis.

Super helpful course! I liked the emphasis on using shortcuts instead of the mouse to speed things up.

Loved, loved, LOVED this course! The most concise, straight to the point, but comprehensive one I found to date.
