I really enjoyed the suggestion and exercise for writing a story by looking at the comic strips. It definitely will give me a couple of ideas. I am enjoying the course. I think it is the best creative writing course I have taken so far. It's not too theoretical and has plenty of exercises. The class will help you think creatively when doing the exercises.

I enjoy the writing prompts as well as the instructive and informative lessons in between. They're not too long. The presenter wants us to write and enjoy the journey and not put pressure on ourselves to be perfect, which is good.

For anyone's information, I give this rating about 25 video's in. This course is far from inspiring. or at least the video's I've seen. It's definition, after definition, after definition. It only scrapes the top layer of writing. No real practical or striking examples, and no in-depth explanations. Just an encyclopedia of basic writing terms (which you have probably all heard about before). Lacks depth (and structure).

I just started the course but I chose to take it so that I could improve my writing. I am on lesson one and we just got the first writing prompt. So far I am enjoying the class and looking forward to the things that I will learn by the time I am done.
