For me this is a powerful course which has a ton of valuable information in it. As someone who has been trained as a professional Addictions Counselor and as an Educator trained under Carl Rogers and the Humanistic Behavior Theory of working with students as well as adults, I found that the material in all of the videos was perfect for me because of the huge focus on using reflective or empathetic listening strategies to help the people I work with develop their own solutions to their problems or ways for improvement in all aspects of their life- the holistic approach if you will. I intend to use everything I know and all of the additional information I obtained here to be a better coach for those that I work with and support. One particular area of the course I enjoyed was the part of networking- not just with those in my field, but rather with those in outside fields which will force me to step out of my comfort zone. Stepping out of one's comfort zone is critical to be being someone that others want to be able to associated with you. As I am now semi-retired (just turned 71) and still wanting to remain active, I am planning to begin my own coaching journey working with individuals from my field of education and counseling who are looking to hone and improve their skills or explore new opportunities in fields where their current skiils are transferrable and would be valuable and be able to be used.

Awesome and insightful. Speaking from wealth of invaluable experiences and track record of blazing success. However I observed that some contents were uploaded with a different name. They were kind a repeated but with a new title. I think it would be better doing another video even if the points being expressed sound similar... My opinion though. Thanks for the amazing content.

There were a couple of gems and take aways in this course. The website Glassdoor was a good find and the questions to ask a prospective employer were excellent. I hadn't considered them before.

This course is amazing! As an aspiring career coach this course was just full of great advice presented in a simple and professional manner. Be aware, this is not a coaching certification course, it's a course for coaches. All the videos are really short (1-5 mins) but there is SO much gold in there. I have several pages worth of notes from this and it's so easy to get through without ever getting heavy or boring. The instructors are clearly very experienced and they know their stuff. I am very grateful to them for sharing their wisdom! The only reason I gave it 4.5 stars and not 5 is that there is quite a bit of repetition in some parts, where exactly the same words are used on different videos, there was even one part that was said 3 times. However, because the videos are so short and the information is so good, it's not a big issue as it all can bear to be repeated. I just finished my certification but took this course right after to get some more tools, and boy, did I get them. Thank you so much for providing so much support and motivation, I really feel like I can do this now.

An insightful course and many helpful suggestions were provided; what isn't mentioned is the push toward icf and some other european body for accreditation which i simply cannot afford; along with insurance as one company mullins won't accept online courses on their provision of insurance in ireland. I would also like to see a handbook provided with slides and also an external professionally accredited certificate to give this course a five star rating. The take aways for me were the going digital in the light if lock downs and the implicit importance of this modality of remote working. What wasn't mentioned was lighting and or presentation skills for camera such as pausing and momentary glancing at the camera; not hogging the camera; just really tips on how to go from in person to online presentation as statically sitting delivering can come across as stale and stiff; and this is something i was glad to learn how to overcome via another course instructor. For those who are very experienced with digital presence and public speaking this course will seem basic; Whilst much of it is common sense; i do feel as if there were a number of take aways including touching on what to charge - many people whose courses I have completed say to provide a package deal with twenty mins free as an introduction and NOT to provide hourly fee but rather put together a five or six session package to guarantee the income and the return of the prospective client; bob mentions a sliding scale fee and these are items to mull over; certainly food for thought. Overall quite an insightful and tip rich course on executive career coaching; still some ways to go; but a fantastic overview; nonetheless. Thank you tj and also massive thanks to bob berkowitz.

I really enjoy the practical information and simple, clear presentation of it. I have been a career development facilitator for over 10 years. I have not had an official client until recently. This course was right on time! It gave me what I needed, especially what specific questions to ask the client to get them thinking, and overcome their self-imposed barriers. I would love to see more graphics and maybe some notes to download that I could refer to, that would be so helpful for my learning style. Overall, I appreciated learning from this course!

Great course however there is some repetition, and there is quite a big variation in the audio volume between some of the lectures.

While it's all good advice, so far it feels very generic and surface-level. I'm hoping they really dive deeper in future sections.

This course costs the same as other career coaching options on Udemy, but it contains far less relevant content than the others. Even though the course claims to have 3.5 hours of content, each video is repeated later on at least once, or sometimes twice. I suspect there's less than 2 hours of unique video content.
