What you will learn

Build basic iPhone apps with SwiftUI and read and write Swift code.

Why take this course?

Hey, it's Chris here.

I just want to congratulate you on taking the first step in your App Journey and to offer a few words of advice and encouragement.

At a glance, this might seem like just another course that you've taken before but it's far more than that.

This is training material that I've been using and refining since 2013 and thousands of students have gone through it with much success.

Furthermore, this has been my full time effort for the last 8 years which means people are happily supporting me and paying for this training because they're getting results. I'm saying all of this because I hope you don't underestimate the transformation that you'll go through in the next 14 days.

These lessons are designed to bring you into the world of iOS app development even if you've never touched a line of code.

You'll get a glimpse into how apps are made, how Swift code can be understood and written even by non-coders and you'll also make your first app by completing this challenge.

After you complete these 14 days, you have a decision to make.. do you want to continue down the learning path that can potentially result in a new career or business?

Or maybe you found out that app development isn't for you and that's ok too.

Either way, this is a solid and earnest way to get into iOS App Development and I'm so humbled that you're here learning with me.

I appreciate that. Thank you.

Alright, I can't wait to get started, let's go!

No resources were provided. This is a “free” course that works hard to direct you to take his other courses. It isn’t updated for today’s SwiftUI. In fact, the creator doesn’t seem to respond to questions at all. How do you take a course and follow along properly when the resources aren’t included?

Each section is covering one topic at a time with small but good examples. Keeping the video of less than 30 minutes and to the point without rushing to tell everything makes the tutorial even better

I found this course very much helpful so far. Chris is really good at teaching. I was able follow everything he said. I definitely recommend this course to anyone who are wishing to learn how to develop iOS app without any prior knowledge or experience. Once again, thank you very much Chris!

To be a course for beginners, it's OK. The app is simple but really helpful, code basics & other cool things.

Definitely worth a shot for anyone who has no programming experience (as the title suggest) and is apprehensive about building an app as this is a great beginner's guide to iOS app development. Pro: - Well structured and easy to follow lessons. - Chris is very thorough and clearly communicates the basic theory, gives a variation of demos and applies the technique to the card game. - Free & self-paced Con: - During the process I personally encountered a problem with an error "AppDelegate thread 1 signal sigabrt", I was stuck for while and couldn't figure out the error so ended up googling what this meant. Turns out I had to right click the button on the storyboard to see if I added any outlets that are not being used and removed it. - Would be good to have a group forum or instant chat where you can post questions while taking the course.

I thimk Chris is Great. He is very personable and he explains things very well. This is important as we cover a number of tricky concepts uch as object oriented programming.

I believe this course helps ALOTTT, but the narrator seems to be very slow at talking, making it a little too slow an a little confusing.

Goeie uitleg maar misschien voor mensen zonder programmeer achtergrond iets te weinig context voor waar je de concepten voor zou kunnen gebruiken.
