In part 1 you will learn how to create your Teachable Academy (or teachable school).

A school is your main Teachable website where your products are hosted. Many creators sell online courses as their products—however, others sell individual coaching or training sessions, among other things. You can create one school per plan. Each teachable school can host an unlimited number of individual courses or products.

You will learn how to create and set up your Teachable school, how to set up your site and create it in a way that best represents you and your brand. Furthermore, we will cover the following:

• Theme: Add a custom logo, favicon, and background image. Pick fonts and color schemes.

• Domains.

• Navigation: Select your homepage, add custom links to your site’s header & footer, and create beautiful graphics in a free graphic design tool called Canva.

• Bio: create a school bio and add a short introduction and image.

• Pages: Create new pages or edit existing pages to your Teachable website.
