I love the voice of the presenter. I am enjoying the presenter's effort to make the topic relatable and approachable.
I mostly wanted to see how to quickly create a workpaper that supported the entries into (eg) Lacerte. I was already fairly comfortable with filling-out a 1040, but it was a solid review course for that too.
This is a very good course and easily understandable but i could not make onething clear that in one chapter when a taxpayer getting child credit why he is geting 12000 as standard deduction instead of 18000 as head of household ,rest all is beautiful
The good match is listening to the video, but i wish the management introduce question and solutions at the end of each lecture. This is important because the programe is not an interactive programe.
The course has a lot of information but you can easily loose interest the graphics are just outdated makes the illustrations boring also that (do not file )stamp is in the way can’t see very well with it in the way
So far the explanation on how to learn and the approach we should take has been very interesting with the reasons given . This course is definitely engaging.
Videos are longer. Difficult for person like me to focus. I have just started, so my opinion might change by end of this 46 hrs tutorial.
My personal preference is to go straight to the point. A lot of the information on this last video could be summed up into smaller bullet points. Of course this is my pace of learning. Someone else with slower learning curve may benefit.
I was worried initially when I started the course. I thought the instruction was too fast as there was no gap between topics. But as we go on I have been enjoying the course.
There is a lot of information which is great but the amount of info may seem to drag on because it seems too much to learn. I wish it was a bit more simple.
It is a great match for me. I work as a self-employed CPA in my house. The Lacerte software interests me a lot. I will consider using it for my small business clients and individual clients.
It is a good match. I am thinking about going to H&R Block to see if they would like to hire me for tax preparation. I enjoy understanding tax preparation, but I am limited in knowledge. (I handle our family taxes and I've gatherered financial information for an Enrolled Agent to do some business taxes.) I'd like to be more knowledgeable before I knock on H&R Block's door!
Great instructor teaching this course! As a visual learner, I have learned so much with the video eplanations and software examples. Thank you for all of the resources, they have helped me to get a better understanding of IRS, Federal and State laws.
I am living this rating because I am really satisfy. Explanations are clear for me even though the lecturer is fast for a french speaking tax Attorney. I am dicovering this course as a foreigner and I am willing to understand better how it works in the U.S. I am also improving my vocabulary related to tax financial statement. Thanks a lot. I will review this course several time so to master all.
As a person that is attempting to do my taxes for the first time, this course provides more than a base to the 1040 forms and procedures. The course surpassed my expectations!
