I would have preferred the actual DVD. I still have the Tascam 2488 DVD and unit which I have referred to periodically.
The course mentions DP-24 but also DP-32. I have the Tascam Dp32SD. Question why did Tascam remove the CD burner from the DP 32SD?

I've owned a DP-24SD for almost a year and have barely used it because of the complexity, which I had found overwhelming after having used several simpler multitrack recorders in the past. This excellent course finally has me understanding how to use this, particularly to record stereo tracks such as my electronic drum kit or output of my guitar's ambient reverb and delay units.

I took this course as an absolute novice hoping to learn the functionality of the DP24 to help a friend record and mix songs. I came away with everything I hoped to learn plus many tips for recording & mixing as well as traps to avoid. This instructional video is a jewel all by itself. Thank you for creating this video and thank you David Wills for an amazing presentation.

I have some previous knowledge of recording, 1-12 in school grading I'd say I'd be in 5th grade. This is so much easier than a manual because questions would be answered that perhaps i wouldn't even know to ask saving bours of aggravation and lost time.

I am self-taught on the Tascam DP-24SD, but going through this pointed out a lot of capability that I have missed and raised my comfort level in using the recorder. I also am coming away with a far better understanding of how to use dynamic effects during recording and other effects during mix. Well worth the money and time.

This is awesome. I have learned more in 1 hour than I have in the two weeks messing with this track, reading manuals, watching YouTube videos, and asking for help in forums. I was skeptical because I was already getting so frustrated with this machine. I knew what I wanted to know how to do, but wasn't sure this would answer my question. So far it's already been worth what I spent, and I'm so excited to get back to recording, now.

Very informative tutorial. I need to go back and forth with my Tascam to really absorb the information and put to practical use. David Wills explained the functions very clearly. I have also signed up to the fuller home recording tutorial which so far is excellent. Thank you David.

It was a very good match, it covered in detail lots of info that the manual didnt. It even played in slo-mo when necessary which caters to the slower students like myself. This is a first for me but wouldnt be my last. I feel like I have a friend in David who I can rely on for my technical needs Thank you..
