What you will learn

Identify the importance developing an organizational perspective of people as an asset, which provides a unique competitive advantage for the organization in pursuing its strategic priorities.

Explore the Expanded Boundaryless Talent Management (BTM) Model as a conceptual framework for managing the flow of talent through an organization.

Discover how talent management processes can work with the flow of talent that enters, progresses through, and then exits the organization.

Why take this course?

In this course, we discuss how to create value from an intangible asset that is measured as head count cost on the organizational balance sheet. We start with a brief overview of how Talent Management is more than a process of identifying high potentials for leadership development programs.

This leads to a conversation about how a large proportion of the employee population has unrecognized talent that is underutilized.  Then, we explore how to put into place mechanisms to help employees explore, discover, and release their potential for the benefit of the organization.  This course challenges the narrow focus of traditional talent management processes and provides practical steps line managers and Human Resource Managers can take to increase the utilization of human potential within their organization.

Great material but the lecturer's audio content should have been edited for hesitation or mistakes as it disrupts the flow of learning. Enjoyed the content

The narator made so many mistakes during her explaining speech. The text/subtitle is also included the mistakes. It is created without proper punctuation making it is difficult to review.

I highly admire the diverse use of definitions to the talent management across theory thinkers, different people's definitions and the use of talent management across corporates.

Too much book based definition, it would be much more practical oriented and application based that would help us to improve our current performance as HR practitioner

Could have explained other models of talent management for comparisons.Very few examples of talent management processes being run in various industries. Nothing was mentioned about succession planning . was having high expectations from this course.

Narrator repeatedly mispronounces and repeats words. It's distracting. I appreciate the low cost of the course but I would hope a better final version could have been provided. The content is interesting so far.

This course doesn't provide the needed from it as we see the topic is mentioned the succession planning but unfortunately we didn't go through succession planning. I advise the author to remove the succession planning from the topic.

Well the Course was definitely informative but it was a little monotonous and sounded a little scripted. I would definitely be interested to undergo courses of Ms. Carrie Foster in the future. Just a suggestion, see if you can have better Graphics / Images / Visual Slides. It will appear much more interesting.

This course is very enlightening. I like the concept of EBTM, as this employee-centered and provides opportunities for employees to grow and succeed in the organization based on their unique talent and leveraging on the strengths of individuals to deliver business results.
