Talend is an open source data integration platform. It provides various software and services for data integration, data management, enterprise application integration, data quality, cloud storage and Big Data. Talend first came into the market in 2005 as the first commercial open source software vendor of data integration software. In October 2006, Talend launched it’s very first product – Talend Open Studio which is currently known as Talend Open Studio for Data Integration. Since then, it has released a wide range of products which are used quite favorably in the market.

This course helps you to learn all the topics related to Talend tool ranging from fundamentals to advanced one to data integration and big data with examples.

Before proceeding with this course, you should be familiar with basic Data warehousing concepts as well as fundamentals of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load). If you are a beginner to any of these concepts, we suggest you to go through concepts based on these concepts first to gain a solid understanding of Talend.

El instructor tiene un acento muy fuerte y a veces no permite entender bien lo que dice, además, solamente lee las diapositivas. No proporciona información adicional a las diapositivas. Hasta ahora no veo valor agregado a leer las diapositivas

La qualite de l'image est un peu flou. La deuxieme partie du cours est plus interessant mais je crois que le formateur parle trop rapide, je pense si on travail sur une cas d'utilisation bien precis ce sera mieux.

Das war noch sehr basic - für die ersten Teile aber okay. Die Untertitel überdecken teilweise wichtige Teile der Grafik. Zudem ist der Untertitel oft schlecht. Dort steht z.B. Palin statt Talend oder U.S. statt TOS. Somit verzichte ich lieber auf die Untertitel...

This training has not given proper background elaboration of why Talend needed also component explanation is too fast and did not go deeper level.

The voice-over killed the content. it misses the way of delivering contents. presenting is not just reading whatever on the slide. can reduce the script and be pin-pointed about what's happening.

Good hands-on sessions but the initial theory sections was boring. The hands-on sessions gave more knowledge on talend.

the naration is monotonus as if somone reading fro, book adn ZERO ellaboration.. hope rest of session is not so boring and has some real views instead of screen shots and better voice.. latter videos also nothing is explained what we are doing and components are not explained .... horrible course

She has been exceptional in explaining the concepts of Talend. This is one of the best course I've taken as all the concepts have been clearly explained. I learned a lot and I recommend it to everyone. Good job.

There is no course work, home work or anything interactive. Additionally there have not been provided anything other than power point presentations where the teacher reads directly from the bullet points or briefly shows the product. This is no better than you can get from youtube tutorials for FREE - OR - the Talend website, which has much better material than has been provided in this course so far, again for FREE on the Talend website. This course is mainly 3-5 minute clips of the 'teacher' showing screenshots and reading prepared bulleted lists. Very weak so far. I will update my review when completed (and probably ask for my money back if it doesn't improve).
