Why take this course?

Having the skills and knowledge to improve the system’s efficiency and performance are of paramount importance for any manager or supply chain executive. In recent years, the focus has often shifted to reducing supply chain costs, enhancing delivery performance, obtaining sustainability, reducing the complexity of the processes, increasing the volume, mitigating risk, and optimizing the entire end-to-end supply chain visibility.

To achieve such goals, the focus should include implementing a set measurement system that contains objectives while measuring the incentives for success by promoting desirable behavior.

By developing an internal system that’s based on verified performance indicators and metrics, you’ll be able to fully resolve the top five challenges in the supply chain industry: understanding planning and risk management, evaluating and implementing cost control, exploiting supplier/partner relations, providing superior customer service, and getting the most from your supply chain team.

By completing this course, you’ll learn to refine strategy, define structure (including the human element), manage processes, and measure performance. You’ll have the skills and knowledge necessary to create and execute a successful framework for understanding, measuring, and advancing the performance of your current supply chain, determining your company’s success in achieving its operational goals, evaluating internal cost/performance trade-offs, initiating strategies for meeting new customer expectations, and responding effectively to the challenges presented by global market growth.

This is a very basic course that anyone with access to PowerPoint can do. The information is not very helpful.

Yeah. Very relevant for myself and team. This will guide us in creating new KPIs and reshape current ones.

It is good if we look at the list of the performance indicators that can be used in supply chain. However, the explanation is very limited and there are almost no examples, so it is difficult to understand the use of the KPI.

Un curso facil de entender en todos los niveles. Recomendaria mas ejemplos y mas dinamismo en el curso

It would have been better with content exploring applications in the real world. In short, examples in supplementary documents would have been good (case studies). This is too much of a summary only, though it is a good one.

Although the information is very important, the delivery was very dry and uninteresting. I don't appreciate someone reading the presentation to me. I feel there were opportunities for real-world correlations to be made but the facilitator never took advantage of the timing.

Overall, it gives me a full view of Supply Chain Problem and Its metrics to improve it. But, It should've been more for a written material in the slides, rather than spoken.

Since I have completed my supply chain management course I have basic knowledge about the supply chain. So far whatever I have learned from this course was already learned from the school.

In my opinion slides lack information that is just told by voice by the teacher, so you are forced to take notes; second part of the course (Best Practices) is useful, it gives a lot of hints of best performing Supply Chain Management Systems.

accent difficult to understand, poorly read, explanations were over complicated and difficult if not impossible to grasp, pleased I didn't pay the £90+ it was originally advertised for!
