I have used ZFS for some time but the course provided info on some useful features that I was unaware of. Very useful.

There are some language issues with the English content. They examples should have more in depth information.

I just wanted to find out a bit more about ZFS as an open source SAN but this was much more than I expected and gave me some great ideas of what I can do with it, thus saving me time and money, as well good knowledge and experience

Great course, easy and simple to follow for a newbie to zfs, After this level I fell a lot more comfortable dealing with ZFS filesystem setup. Thank you for putting up this content and sharing it.

Not very happy with this course. The discount code didn't work, and compared to the first lecture (Which was free), this one is more lazily done. Virtual disks were not really replaced since there were already more virtual disks available, ZFS pools were not really migrated to another virtual machine (How can you send a virtual disk image to another server?). It was all done in the same VM, without much explination. I don't feel I got my money's worth. I dont know what happened Muhamed, but the first level is free and is much better quality, and this one is expensive and not so much quality. Also, i get a certificate that says only 1 hour of training...

think this course is excellent as BASICS ZFS. Also it would be nice to add a lab about spare disks and autoreplacing degraded disks during a failure. Also author gave the lab for replacing disks in fault raid array, but how to add the same offline disk back if it is not corrupted, but was disassembled accidentially? In a whole course gave advanced skills to me!

I have really enjoyed both courses L1 and L2. They are totally applicable to the real world. Both courses were easy to follow with great lab examples (ie a picture paints a thousand words :-) ). Thank you both.

The course is well organized, the arguments are explained in an excellent way, I suggest a sequel, L3 with examples focused on recovering data in disaster recovery scenarios, cache usage, and performance.

It's a great course specially it's the second level from the first one. Just one note some topics need to be clarified more such as import export. Thanks again Eng Mohammed.
