☑ Day Trade Stock Options More Successfully
☑ Identify Self-Sabotaging Behaviors and Stop Them
☑ Higher IQ From a Clearer Mind
What sets truly successful stock options traders apart from those who never realize their dreams? Is it a particular set of habits or special rules? An increased appetite for risk? Skill at charting? Plain old smarts? No doubt each of these factors plays a part in a day trader's achievements, but perhaps underlying all of these differences is a particular and profoundly powerful mindset.
The fundamental difference between the wildly successful and the merely mediocre stock option trader is not any inborn characteristic or individual learned behavior, but how we think about skills and learning in general.
Can People Really Change?
Some folks, it seems, think that, basically, when it comes to skills and abilities, you get the hand you're dealt, and that's that. You are, however smart you are, however hard working, and there's little to nothing you can do to change these fundamental characteristics of your personality. That's called a "Fixed Mindset".
Other people know differently. Those with the opposite view, called a "Growth Mindset", believe that with effort, training and perseverance, you can expand your knowledge, broaden your daytrading skills, improve your odds, and overcome reversals. The key to successful trading is not inherited talent, or skill, but good, old-fashioned hard work on their skills and attitudes. Guess who ends up more successful?
If you haven't guessed yet, successful stock options traders generally have a Growth Mindset, a fact proven in large part by the research of renowned Stanford psychologist Carol Dweck. In a lengthy and fascinating article in INC . com, Dweck wrote: "It's all about your mindset. Successful daytraders tend to focus on growth, solving problems, and self-improvement, while unsuccessful people think of their abilities as fixed assets and avoid challenges."

I am overwhelmed by the amount of support the folks at Waves of Profit have dedicated to educating the potential consumer on the importance of mental stability throughout the trading process. The amount of caution stressed in each Waves of Profit video is unparalleled! I am immensely grateful for these courses.
Yes, it was good, what I needed was a boost of mindset for day trading and that's exactly what I got here.
it's worthwhile to work on if you listened other courses of the teem and going to use their softwear(it costs some money in a month).
This is the best investing/trading course in Udemy. Understanding and mastering your emotions and psychological makeup is 99% of investing. This is so important that I would urge everyone to take this course before putting a dime in the market.
Very interesting examples of how your mind works and how "you" can control it. Thank you for another great course. "Fake it until you Make It... Thanks Allen, Scott and Steve. Great Material. Mike
Some good information but the presenters, especially Allen, are somewhat nerdy and long-winding, not concise.
The course was excellent. I have been studying trading for many years and this was by far the most pragmatic and well communicated course on this vital topic. Well done!
It improved my thinking and gave me a way out of a closed investing mind set and gave me better insight and knowledge...
Addressing a very common problem among day traders, including myself. I had struggled for years making consistent winning trades. And it was because of my mindset. I put trading aside to work on my other business and to work on my personal development. If I was to make a suggestion at this point, it would be to make this course a prerequisite to Course 2.
This is a good course if you are already trading and have some knowledge and experience with trading. This course only covers bad emotional habits and how to overcome them cognitively. It does not cover any type of actual options trading techniques. I guess I selected the wrong course, since my original goal was to learn about options trading, how it works, etc.
This was a very solid course. I specifically enjoyed the interviews and the insight that each guest gave. It was nice to see others who were in my position make it successfully. Lots of good insight into fear and greed and the way the mind works. This course was worth the $$ Thx!
You need to let the people you are interviewing talk and not interrupt so much. Too many analogies that go on and on and on... Some good content... boring music
Great course and overall content. I did feel that towards the end it got somewhat repetitive in the sense that every interview and lesson ultimately came down to "sticking to your rules and system." While in the grand scheme of things this makes perfect sense, I do wish there had there been more in depth explanation of how to fundamentally put together a personal system. Mixing in small tidbits of technical analysis i.e. trend lines, k-bands to show that when those indicators appear to get in a trade and trust that those tools will help you win the trade would have been beneficial as well. I feel that this would have made the narrative "following your rules" stick much better. Minor improvements to be made, but overall a very informative and helpful course to get the beginning trader prepared for the world of trading.
Excellent knowledge to help with a traders proper mindset to be successful. The interviews are welcome...its nice to see and hear real people who are trading successfully which gives the student the confidence to proceed. Allen and Scott genuinely want their students to achieve success.
Serious material is presented in an entertaining way. Instructor doesn't hammer on you but reiterates why the material is important and shows how it can contribute to your success. They also make sure you understand you are not the only one with these habits with interviews with a variety of people. Its not a short course but if you persevere to the end you will realize it was a great investment in your future!
