O curso está sendo bem interessante, só gostaria que disponibilizasse os modelos em pdf ou doc para nos inspirarmos neles.

Firstly, thank you for this course. Because it was short and contained different topics, it deserved 3 stars rate. Secondly, even though I've been expecting to hear about the journalists approach to the startup communication, I did not want to take a course "How to write to Erica Swallow so she would choose my company to write about". I understand the personal brand promotion, but it should be about PR for the startup companies, not about the one's journalist opinion about receiving different stories. I did not get enough valuable information from this course to get press on a tight budget. No offense please :) What I've found useful: reverse pitches approach and the specific tools. What I did not understand is: why the press releases are bad (based on the opinion of course's author), because usually they are bringing the most valuable results, based on my experience.

Very informative yet still concise. Answered every question I had about my strategy. Erica is a great instructor and has a lot of real world experience both in pitching and being pitched so I doubt there is anyone better to teach this course.

I'm so glad I found this course while I was preparing for a new business/product launch! Erica has some great things to teach and her course is a great investment for those of us starting out, as well as established businesses that wish to be more effective in communicating with the media.

I'm a former news editor who is now in PR and I can say that every little nugget she gives about dealing with journalists in the present age is 100 percent true. A personalized pitch is way better than an email blast. She practices what she preaches when it comes to being clear and brief. The course is short and easy to understand. She has visuals that help and quizzes that reenforce the training. Thanks, Erica, for the course!

Erica does a fantastic job of getting down to the nitty-gritty of what to-do and not to-do when getting ready to be your own PR advocate for your start-up. She uses real world examples of pitches that worked and did not work with her as a journalist, that was very helpful. Nobody just wants to see hypothetical pitches, we want to see the good, the bad and the ugly. She delivers! I highly, and I mean HIGHLY recommend this to anyone trying to get press for your start-up. Great job Erica! 5 stars and two enthusiastic thumbs-up!!

This course was immediately useful for me. I find myself going back to parts of it again and again--writing effective emails and communicating the message of a product, most of all. Erica is engaging and accessible throughout. She draws me into focusing on practical steps anyone can take. Helping me build better relationships with the people behind the press we all crave, and showing me how to get the interest I want for myself and my products. I'll be taking her next course too, for sure.

I enjoyed this course Erica! I knew some of this but you both reminded me what I forgot :) and taught me some new, important info. I appreciated that you come from the position of a true practitioner of PR and in the course you offer suggestions from your experience as both one who receives pitches and one who has pitched. I enjoyed you sharing real emails you've received with your commentary pointing out the positive and what intrigued you about each of these. Thanks again for a worthwhile learning experience.

With Erica, I got it straight from the horse's mouth and received truly actionable tips from a professional journalist. Now I feel much more confident about writing to journalists as I have a much better understanding of what's their professional experience like, what they expect and appreciate, what tools they use and how. If you're new to PR like I am, this is a wonderful course. I recommend it heartily!

This course presents an excellent description of the PR process, with some great tips from the standpoint of a reporter. Erica's insights will help get your press releases read and--more importantly--published or turned into news stories. There are also some excellent organizational tools and useful web resources. Well worth the time!

Anyone that doesn't have a past in PR and will be in contact with journalists should definitely take this course. Highly recommended for fresh startups. I'd say it's a good review even for someone who's been in this line of work for a few years (like myself).
