What you will learn

Begin speaking German with the Present tense

Use regular, irregular, auxiliary, modal and separable verbs - without being afraid of making mistakes

Form a correct present tense sentence - with the correct verb and word order

Learn the 30 most useful verbs for beginners - and how to use them

Most of all - have fun! :)

Why take this course?

You think that the German verbs are unpredictable, unlogical and without rules? Not so fast!

Take this course and learn everything you ever wanted (or didn`t want) to know about the German Verbs in the Present Tense - all the totally normal folks that you will get along with really fast, but also the reeeally special ones - the party people, the scientist, the punx and the sports.

I believe that after getting to know them all - you will see that they are not so chaotic at all and that with the help of some pictures and stories the verbs will make much more sense. You will be able to remember which group they belong to - without feeling like drowning in the quicksand of the crazy German language.

When you finally get how to build the present tense of the regular, irregular and other silly verbs - put that knowledge into practice! I prepared for you a list of 30 most useful verbs for beginners. If you learn these verbs - what they mean, how they behave and when to use them - your conversation skills will surely flourish.

The examples in the videos are in German, but I added subtitles in English - so you can decide if you want to try to understand it by yourself or to get a little help :) The subtitles could be a little bit bumpy in some places, it was my first time making subtitles, but I will try to fix the irregularities as soon as possible :)

And don`t forget to take the quizzes and check the hints by the answers - remember that practice is the only way to learn a language :)

After the course, if you still have any questions, comments, things that confuse you, something you want to talk about, or just share your frustration about the German irregular verbs, feel free to drop me a note! :)

The course is not suitable for complete beginner. But if you are A1 it's helpful and fun. Finished all the course in an hour. It's like a single youtube video. A course from 20th. century. Before graphic desing was invented. :)

I found the presentations engaging and clear. The course has clarified much that I found confusing with German verbs.

This is an upbeat course and a terrific way to start learning German. Different from the usual ways that are taught when learning a language, but I really enjoyed it. Like learning anything, you will need to really listen and practice, but there are several quizzes to help cement the learning material in your memory. Sandra is well suited to teaching and, in my opinion, this course is quality in every way. Recommended and well worth taking. Thank you Sandra!

This was a super fun course but more importantly it was very informative and will leave you feeling confident in your Germany studies. Not only does she know her stuff and present it in a fun manner but she also has quizzes at the end of every section so that you can reinforce what you just learned. I really can't say enough praises about this class. If you're serious about learning German but can't fathom a boring lecture look no further than this course presented by Sandra at Eleven Percent. The only "con" which isn't really a con at all but me being greedy >_< is that I want more courses offered by Eleven percent to progress with and I was sad that there wasn't any more courses lol I would enjoy seeing a course about the past/future tense. This is an amazing course and you won't be disappointed. :)

Information is accurate, the style of instruction does not work for me. But different styles work for different people, so it may work well for someone else.

Fun and useful for the beginner and for those in need of a refresher. My only gripe is that sometimes multiple right answers were on some of the quiz questions with no way to know which was the "right" right answer.

So far, this course is good, the instructor speaks and writes clearly and is introducing the concepts in a very understandable way. The reason I do not give it 5 stars is that in the initial lesson she uses some sentences as examples, which is not helpful to a complete novice without additional clarification. When I went back and typed these sentences into a translate program, her point became clear - but I should not have to use an outside source to understand a basic class. Also, her hand writing could use some improvement, u, n, m, w, r all look the same!
