My name is Jonathan Edwards and I've been an IT Professional for 19 years. For 11 of those years I have owned and managed my own IT support company. In addition, I also own and manage my own Cloud Services company.

I am vastly experienced in providing IT services to small-medium sized  businesses and running a business. 

What will this course cover?

  1. Providing IT support to SME's is much more than simply fixing computers! This course will provide you with all the information you need and the services you should be offering.
  2. Cloud Services is massive for your customers! You need to be earning regular profit from providing cloud services for you customers
  3. Pricing is a HUGE topic within the industry. You have to price your services to remain competitive but also to provide your business with good profits. You'll learn how.
  4. You'll need lots of software tools so you can scale and offer great service. We'll look at some of these in this course.
  5. We'll touch on marketing. You're going to need a steady stream of new customers every month so you can grow. We'll look at what you should be doing and shouldn't be doing in the marketing world.
  6. Successful Client Onboarding can be the difference between getting new customers and not getting new customers! I'll show you a sales process that I've developed over my 11 years of running an IT company. You'll learn how to maximise your time and stop dealing with time wasters!
  7. How do you go from a one-man band to a successful IT company? I'll share some of the tips that have ensured that my business has always enjoyed steady growth.

Its a good series but is only directed towards a very small IT start up. it doesn't tackle any topic related to what are the minimum requirements/foundations of building an IT start up. topics such what makes issues an L1, L2 or L3 for example as well as how to manage a team of engineers, few other topics I would be interested to know which aren't included. i trust that this series could be improved as this seems like it lack about 60% of essential topics.

Don't Take This Course this is a Scam Too Basic Certification, in the end, anyone can recognize that is a fake Certificate, Very low Createtivity to look like a cert and first of all, don't have a signature what scam is this to waste of money

This course was one of the most useful ones that I have ever taken here or elsewhere. Very hands-on, based on real-world experiences and special props to Jonathan for the lots of giveaways. Being so transparent with all aspects of the building and maintenance (and growth!) of an IT support business doesn't come in the way very often. This video was very well thought out and presented. I am an avid Udemy viewer with over 150 courses to date and this is one of my favorites for sure. From a purely constructive point of view, I would have liked to see the SolarWinds dashboard for NCentral, a little more detail regarding price setting (such as where/how to get baseline pricing), and some methodologies on how to find a good NOC and perhaps a little more on the role (and how it's integrated into your business) that the NOC plays, but these are like adding a few more sprinkles on top of a near perfect sundae; It's fantastic either way, great job!
