Good info on setting up to run everything. As a note, I also had to set the sbt compiler version to 1.8 to be able to run the exercise file successfully.

Initial Setup configurations are good and explanatory but it will be better if it is explained in a manner of why we use sbt and a little explanation over that

It would be interesting to develop the way to work on command line or any other IDE than IntelliJ, like Eclipse or VSCode

It really helps on setting everything so you can start working. The other courses (from other platforms) leave this part to yourself and you might get stuck. This was very helpful

Good and quick setup video. Got everything on the first try, however I would understand if people without a background in Tech working with a different OS could find it hard to keep up as the instructor moves pretty fast.

The author didn't mention about sbt configuration in IntellijIdea. The sbt shell should be used for project reload and for builds: see IntellijIdea Preferences -> Build, Execution, Deployment -> Build Tools -> sbt - check parameters mentioned above. And by the way, there is an easier way to install all the tools needed by the SdkMan. Any version of Java, sbt, scala.

Beginning to get a little dated - getting the jdk from the oracle website is difficult now - recommend just using apt if you're on linux.

In intellij they could have mentioned to install scala plugin and they should also give instructions of more error if occured.

Course is pretty outdated, instructions need modifications. I struggled for 4 hrs to get everything downloaded on Mac. When i ran command sbt clean test::compile it returned error. Next was importing and building the project it was all fine till this point. Now I've to search for Run button in intelliJ. I understand baby siting is not the way but to complete this 15min course it took me more than 5hrs now and still not complete yet.
