This is basic course in SSRS. Some important concepts are missing. There are no clear explanations on why "Embedded Data" are always used in projects but "Shared Data" is not used. SSRS is about reporting but there are not much about presenting the reports in different ways such as changing the margin, headers, footers, reporting body area, page count, suppression and so on.

It is pretty good to some average because of the instructor simplicity, but he didn't all the aspect of SSRS.

For all the people confused over why reporting services arent appearing in the Visual Studio, you will have to download an extension called "Microsoft Reporting Services Projects 2022" in order to be able to access "Report Server Project" template. Good course, i would have liked if it used report builder instead of vs studio since this is the default report designer but the options are the same. I was hoping it would cover kpis and mobile report but there was no mention of these tools. Overall good content for a beginner who opens it for the first time and needs to create a report for the next day!

j'ai vraiment appris beaucoup avec ce cours. Bien que j'ai des connaissance en PL/SQL le surplus appris ici m'a vraiment faire du bien . Concernant les deux dernières parties que sont ETL(Extract Transform and Load data) pour SSIS et le repporting avec SSRS et les Tableaux qu' étaient pour moi un monde inconnu est maintenant mieux agréable. Vielen Dank für diesen Kursus! Wie nett, diesen kostenlos bereitzustellen! Einen Überblick über SSRS habe ich hierdurch erhalten. Hiernach könnte ich mit SSRS aber noch nicht eigenständig arbeiten, dafür ist der Kursus - für mich - nicht ausführlich genug. PS: Einen Einblick in SSAS würde ich auch gerne erhalten. Über einen Kursus dazu würde ich mich also freuen. Viele Grüße & alles Gute!
