The course is okay, since now I find myself with a better knowledge of the topic. Still, I have to say that some contents should be updated and sometimes the concepts are confusing when not explained in details and not well separated from different concepts. I found myself rewatching some parts a couple of times or troubleshooting online to solve issues.

Inhalte waren gut vermittelt, Kurs gibt einen ersten guten Überblick. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist das Audio. Die Audioqualität und Lautstärke schwankte leider stark von Aufzeichnung zu Aufzeichnung, hier ist noch Potential.

It's not bad but also not very polished. Slow to make a point and keeps repeating the same point and so doesn't cover much ground. There are richer, more slick videos for the price but still I'm learning some useful stuff. He clearly knows his subject its just how that comes over to the learner and leaving the learner feeling that they have got value for money. It was great that it was on discount. Learn a structure and format well and make that consistent across all learning modules, it looks a bit unrehearsed, don't have the trainer in the videos if it is going to look like he is reading the slides.

Generally it was a very good overview with some practice examples. The trainer posesses wide range of required knowledge. Great that we also got the advanced features and best practice examples. It was a little too technical at some point. I couldn't follow the big picture sometimes. I'd say that some initial IT knowledge would be required to fully follow the course.

I'm looking for some information on security and yet to have seen any security roles actually being built using a possible functioning business scenario or any mention of DAX but perhaps there will be mention of it in the next videos.

Some of the videos go black and last for several minutes. This needs cleaned up. I would like to see more DAX related information and querying the tables in the model in SSMS.

For the length of the course it covered a lot of detail. Two things I need to learn more about is how to promote and distribute in a production environment. It was discussed, but not actually performed. Also, we use PowerBI report server. Will the Roles applied in SSAS apply to people using the Report Server based on the AD credentials for the user accessing the web page or is it based on the database credentials user ID?
