I would like the course to have subtitles. I can't understand the type of English being spoken here.

Even though, I work daily with Cubes and T-SQL, I though i'd pick up this course to see if there was anything new or a different/ faster method of working.. I'm sure the course is good, but I didn't even get past the 2nd video, the instructors English wasn't great and i struggled to pick up 1 in 5 words spoken.. it just wasn't worth my time rewinding the videos to try and determine if what he was saying was important or relevant..

Im really irritated because I can barely hear the audio, most of the videos are shaded for some reason like they were shot by a dirty camera. There is a lot of important information when you download the zip files that one cant even see or hear on the videos. It appears as if the instructor here didn't really care when he did this. Im so dissapointed I waisted my money coz I started watching long after the 30 days. Its horrible. And he doesn't even engage on questions asked. Whats the point?

This is really good information, well organized and easy to follow and understand. My only request would be to run some of the "final" queries more often.

Most of the course refers you to the accompanying reference material to know anything useful... I could have just read a book instead of buying this course. The explanation of the original setup was very bad - plus my operating system could not use the SQL 2016 Evaluation package this course uses - which should have been highlighted before. My SQL 2014 does not work fully - hence cannot follow a lot of the examples on my own system.

I've been a SQL Server DBA for around 5yrs now and am transitioning into the OLAP world. This course has helped me towards this step.

No clear explanation on where or how to install the Sql server or the required files. No responses from the instructor to the students' queries and questions

The instructor has good, solid, simple queries that get right to the point rather than wasting time lecturing. Great format.

I would like to see more real-world scenarios where specific types of queries would be used for DAX, DMX and complex T-SQL. I would also like to see more complex MDX such as ranking functions. It would also be helpful to see examples of well written queries and poorly written queries for each language. This way students can see the correct way to write queries and what to avoid.

This was a great course and tons of detail in to the four languages. I would reccomend this to anyone who's looking into seeing examples of SQL and DAX.

Good course. The title should contain somewhere world like "overview" or "introduction". I was able to listen to the trainer at 1.5x of speed for almost all parts. For sure you can sense that trainer has a great experience in the Microsoft SQL Server Analytical Services technologies. The course will give you a boost to learn more. It would be beneficial if you do by yourself all exercises delivered with this course. This is because video training contains only partial coverage of what example files contain. There are simply too many of them to discuss on video but they are quite simplified on the other hand as well. The best part for me was MDX queries. They were quite well explained with lots of examples. The course would be a little bit easier to digest if some more extensive theoretical introduction were delivered at starting point of each section. It would be nice to catch more ground with glossary of terms before moving further. Some important terms should have been additionally reminded or explained again while discussing MDX|DAX|SQL|DMX queries or traversing inside DW Cube folder structure.

Instructor is incredibly verbose. Also, mentions "reference material" ad infinitum. I registered for the course to get important features of the matter covered in lectures. Well, is not that material did not get covered. It is that it takes a long time - because of repetitions and allusions to reference material - to cover topics that be covered very quickly. Maybe "reference material" is being alluded to so many times because, you feel that your presentation is lacking. Maybe you can rework your presentation after mentioning "reference material" just once at the beginning of the course. No disrespect was intended.

Course is very well design with a lot of useful examples and reference materials. I wish the presentation level is better.
