I've taken half of the course. I also took another course (web pentesting) of the teacher. I gave this course a 5-star not because it's perfect, but it's better than other ones on Udemy. Another reason is that I see some other comments gave it unresonable low score so that I want to defend for it a bit. This is a practical way of teaching in which the teacher shows both from hacking the website and running the sql commands on the database interface.

Overview could be littler better and the way the sql part was explained could be better. I couldn't imagine how that query will fit in that username input field. Some visual representation on that would have been better.

I think the course is good, what I really liked it was that Avinash explained from the MySQL CLI and explained different code scenarios that other courses always miss, even tough when we performed a pen test we won't see the code it is a good practice to see the diferences. I am giving 4 stars because I felt that the course could be the best one if error based, boolean based, and time based weren't to short, to extract data manually or with burp like counting databases, extracting tables, columns manually to understand the full concept and not having the table's name ('w','y') since the beginning, and would be a good combination using burp intruder payloads and simple lists. It is one of the best introductory SQL Injections training that I found.

This course really is awesome. I am currently a penetration tester and wanted a course that taught me more than just the basics. This course taught me how to approach SQLi attacks, identify areas where I need improvement, and also to expose me to more learning avenues after having finished this course.
