Love the course. This is exactly the course I need to use for TOAD. Might be beneficial to have a how-to course for the tool itself. Excellent delivery on how to set this up on a personal workstation.

Session are too basic which will for the fresher's are B.tech students but not for the experienced. And Quiz even the LKG can answer the questions.

Very, very useful for a beginner (such as myself). Most videos are a few minutes long which makes it ideal for learning. It only includes easy examples. I would've love to see a section dedicated to more difficult queries; not to go in depth (as this is a basic SQL course) but to show what kind of queries are done out there in the real world to combine multiple tables, with multiple data types (timestamps, dates, Unix time stamps, etc). This was my first course in Udemy . I found that playing the course at 1.5x speed feels right. At 2x speed it's also good in some lectures. Normal speed was way too slow. If you have zero experience with dbs or have just a little, then, this is a good course. Worth it!

Very thorough, but a few issues: - he pauses a lot making the videos very slow, I have to watch in 1.5x or 2x speed for it to keep my attention. - he repeats himself often within the same video, often back to-back statements being the exact same information. - there are several mistakes here and there. Examples, he types IP address 128.0.0.0 but says 128.0.0.1, and the popup says 128.0.0.1. Little details like that are extremely important with this kind of software. - he teaches in TOAD but TOAD is not free software. Oracle SQL developer is more accessible software for most people and should be the development tool of choice for an introductory video. Want to learn TOAD? Put a separate section of videos at the end to teach what's unique about TOAD vs Oracle SQL Developer, or make a separate course entirely about TOAD. All in all it feels like his first or second draft. Remaking these videos with a script and the help of someone else (who can tell you when to redo the video yet again to eliminate mistakes) would make for a much more professional, engaging course.

I am currently about 1/3 of the way through this course. I really like the content and would give it 4-5 stars if the video quality could be improved.

I like how methodical the course syllabus is thus far -- very thorough, step by step. However, some of the screenshots have poor resolution. Sometimes, I wish he would move things along more quickly. I'd also like it if there were a walk-through of the Toad UI.

The lecture showing you how to download and install Oracle SQL skipped straight to the installation part without describing where to download from or which version. The static slides are very boring to watch when the tutor just repeats (multiple times) what is written on them. He also just explains what he is doing and describes what we can already see on screen without any real in-depth explanation of why he is doing it.
