Very Clear speech and Presented material, instructor knows his subject and how to project it across to the student very well. I've been looking to get on top of Spring for a long time, because my company wants to use it but found it hard going with books and other free courses that just don't cut it! Downloaded code from part one is not directly usuable in part 2. New code has been added and is not being shown or explained. You just have to be lucky to get it to work and follow along. I was lucky enough to get everything to work. The instructor is so boring it is becoming a fight to stay awake. Main improvement would be to also explain the WHY and not only the HOW to do things in spring..

This is a truly excellent course! Bruce demonstrates the Spring framework using examples to make it much easier to understand. When I asked question I always get response from instructor within half day. If I couldn't figure something out, I will just send my buggy code to instructor and he will reply back promptly. Thank you Bruce for the effort of spreading your knowledge!

1. I watched Part 1 of this Spring tutorial but I'm still a bit confused every time when the instructor talks about this injection and that injection. I hope there are more detailed discussions about dependency injection in Part 1 or the beginning of Part 2. The current version is way too short. Apparently it is not sufficient for Spring newbies. 2. The instructor goes through the tutorial like reading a paper. It's too plain and dry. I understand that its just a personal style but the instructor can try to do a better job to make the course more interesting.

Being new to Spring, I was a bit worried about how to get up to speed with the same. But this course helped me figure it out much faster than I expected it to! The tutor is excellent at explaining the content and how Spring work. Also, any doubt or confusion in concept or theory is quickly resolved by the tutor through any of the social media networks. This is a good course for someone who wants a good head start on the Spring Framework. Bruce has done a good job of explaining how Spring can be configured in various ways. However, I would like modules like Spring transaction management, Spring security, Spring Integration also covered. Maybe Bruce can make another course for these. Thank you.

I have taken three courses by denOfProgramming and I am consistently impressed with Bruce's method of delivery, the succinctness and effectiveness of his examples and the fact that he's able to teach so many aspects about Spring technology without ever taking you outside of the Eclipse IDE. I've seen other courses that utilize large projects that help the instructor relay his thoughts but Bruce drives everything home with nothing more than XML and Java code that outputs results to the console; his approach completely eliminates the opportunity to get sidetracked in other technologies. I cannot overstate how impressed I am at Bruce's intimate understanding of the Spring (and Maven) technologies and his uncanny ability to explain things so clearly is equally impressive. The tone of his delivery is smooth, clear, pointedly targeted and uninterrupted by error. I've never once heard Bruce trip over his dialog which is one of the factors that so adequately displays his mastery of the subject matter. I have highly recommended all of Bruce's other courses and I do so again with this course. If you want to learn the many different aspects of Spring (or Maven) denOfProgramming is a one stop shop. Thanks for another excellent course Bruce! Great job! :o)

I am a fellow instructor and Bruce has put an amazing course together yet again. I am enrolled in all 3 of his courses and they are all 5 star courses. The pace he teaches at is perfect and the depth at which each thing is explained is amazing. My comprehension of Java Spring is so much higher after watching his videos compared to trying to read books and watch random videos on youtube. Great Job yet again Bruce.
