Ms. Shaw does a great job here, getting you from installing, ingesting to building searches and more. Just what I needed. I have be working as a SOC Analyst for a year now and my director couldn't emphasize more how important mastering Splunk is. Although we have subscriptions with Splunk education, I keep learning from Ms. Shaw. Oh, you may have to slower her down a bit..easily done.

Difficult to say that I was able to take anything away from the course as opposed to watching someone work through Splunk. PDF notes would largely help customers focus on the how-to as opposed to what. This is not a course for beginners. you should have a solid foundation as opposed to "Zero".

I liked this course as an introduction to Splunk. The content of the course helps you to go from zero to power user, however. Some quizzes after the modules could be helpful to better understand and review what you have learned.

It's a party good course material as far as practical/Demo conducted, but lacking of practices / Exam during this course.
it will be helpful if you can add practices / Exam sessions after specific Module so it will help us as a revision or the knowledge which we get in previous module.

Hailie is an amazing teacher, teaches you the function and THEN goes and shows you a live demo of the actions/commands in action.
I can not recommend a better teaching/learning resource for splunk

The course is really good and the instructor is also very knowledgeable but the only drawback is she is moving very fast and which can be little difficult for absolute beginners in Splunk.

Very straightforward and to the point presentation. I appreciate the point by point theory/demo approach, as well as the incidental humour that is part of the course. It helps keep the viewer's attention during the drier sections.

This course is good, but there are few things could make it better, like 1-A quiz after each module, 2-The instructor needs to go little bit slower, 3-Providing a link to download the slides.

beggining is good, but as it progress the teacher become very fast, very disorganized and and very shallow. The data model module is total disaster, unless you already know there is no way you going to understand it. I honestly regret to paying for this course.
