It was pretty much what I expected an introductory course into Maple would be like. The course was succinct.

A bit light. At some point, it's more showing maths with bits of Maple than showing Maple with bits of maths. Some of the tips seem to have been added by accident like assume() or inert functions. So, it showed me some basic tips for Maple, which is good but not enough to justify the price tag.

Found this course to be really helpful in getting to grips with Maple. Lots of different types of math problems and techniques to evaluate and solve with maple. Plotting is covered extensively and that is invaluable;e to see it used in lots of different ways.

As an introduction to Maple, this is great. It goes through a number of good workable examples, and it allows you to optimise the code presented to you. If you want something more advanced though, I would look elsewhere, as it is somewhat lacking in the deeper parts of the software.

Excellent course. For those who want to start using Maple quickly, it goes straight to the point. The instructor has a good knowledge of advanced math, which is fundamental to the course quality. However, be careful: it is not a math course, it is just a software course. You are expected to already understand the theoretical principles in order to make a real progress.

This is a basic Maple course. It would be better if the videos were thoroughly prepared before filming. Some material (worksheets) to download would have been an added value to the course.

I am learning your Maplesoft course along with the Mathematica courses, and then figuring out the corresponding actions in both software. What makes it difficult is that the words in the explanations aren't the same words in each language. For example Evalf in Mathematica would be / / N but he puts it after the conversion in most cases. You always use Evalf in front , is it possible to put it in the back? The two courses Beginning Mathematica complement each other very well. I think your presentation is really good.

Great quick little course which does exactly what it pretends to do: Show how things are done in Maple, but not teach math as such. Video courses on Maple is hard to find (my opinion), so this is really a good primer. One thing I occasionally miss is better explanations on the logic Maple uses to determine when one variable is depending on another. E.g when differentiating, Maple seems to treat diff(f, x) in another way than diff(f(x), x). In terms of Maple's implicit type system, what does f represent vs f(x), and why doesn't Maple recognize f as a function depending on x when the definition of f has already been given?

This is a great course to learn Maple right from the basics to an advanced level. After completing this course you will be able to solve most of the complex math problems (specially calculus). The flow of the course and the way of explanation is remarkably excellent and enables you to grasp the concepts easily.

I am honestly more confident of my life goal of getting into Quantitative Finance because of this course and the software. Thank you.

This works well if you can't access the software from your school for free or you'd just like to have your own permanently-installed copy. Chris explains the steps patiently, including a Maple tutorial before getting started, and demonstrates various problem-solving techniques. The Maple code is fairly simple and straightforward, and the interface is pretty easy to use. This is a great course to help get you through all those maddening problems when time is short. Thanks!
