Seldom do I allow myself to rate any course at the beginning. However, its also seldom that I find myself immediately learning something new and interesting. In this course, Shannon explains clearly succinctly how to identify, how to use and why you should. Awesome. Thank you.

WOW! Shannon did an absolutely fantastic job creating this course. As an Eagle Scout of the Boy Scouts of America, I have spent hundreds of hours outside without realizing that there are so many wonderful, tasty, and nutritious plants outside. Not only is this course meant for the adventurer, but she really brings a practical aspect to the course. Shannon made me want to get up off the couch, head outdoors, and forage the day away. Each video outlines how to identify, prepare, and cook each of the plants. She also demonstrates how to utilize the edible plant in many common dishes or drinks! As a bonus, she provides additional cooking recipes for each of the plants. This course was perfect for me. I have tried the garlic mustard recipe and cannot wait to try the others. YUM!

The detail and practicality of the information is very high and understandable. Not at all unreachable or intimidating. Besides the usefulness of the info, there is a fun quality to it! A self help concept that is beneficial to one and is not a pricey based directive to buy, but rather go to the wild and harvest. WELL done!!

Very thoroughly researched and easy to follow. Plus a lot of information I didn't know. Shannon is fun to listen to....excellent delivery and I love the additional information she added in the video explaining tips on when to harvest dandelions. I really enjoyed the recipes as well, especially the dandelion coffee and nettle tea. I was impressed with the course!

I already knew a little about the benefits of the different parts of the dandelion but in this segment, I really learned a lot more about this lovely plant! I am definitely going to try to roast the roots and make coffee. I cannot tolerate caffeine so this would be a great alternative for me. Shannon really has a way of explaining things that is very practical and easily understood, too. I am not completely new to foraging for wild edibles but this course introduced me to a couple of different wild plants that I was not aware of nor did I know how to identify and use in my diet. I feel very confident that I can positively identify every plant she discussed. I also love the fact brought up at the end of the course about having more variety in our diet to stay healthy. It really has motivated me to get out there and find more wild edibles and incorporate more into my cooking.
