I start to develop Shopify apps back in 2018 for my partner store, we use to design and sell baby clothes using Printfy, however, the Printfy app at the time was terrible, even tho it would create new products for you it would create a new product for each size and color and of course, we want to be all one product with many variants (different sizes and colors), my partner and I would expend hours after creating each new print grouping and fixing the cloths until one day I had enough and I thought to myself, I'm a developer I can create an app to make this laborious job easy.

And so I start work on it, just to find out the many parts of the Shopify app is not well documented, after reading many documents and asking many questions on the Shopify forum and Slack I got it done, I told that was so cool I showed it at work where they also asked me to create a payment gateway for Shopify and so I did.

In this course, I will share everything I learned on my Shopify journey with you. My review: This course is an absolute disappointment. The material is shockingly outdated, to the point where it's practically a relic from a bygone era. If it weren't for my extensive experience as a software engineer, I would have been utterly and hopelessly lost. I enrolled in this course with the expectation of gaining valuable knowledge and skills. However, what I found was a course that appears to have been untouched for ages. It's like trying to learn about cutting-edge technology using a rotary dial-up modem. I now find myself questioning if there's any hope of salvaging any benefit from this course. To put it bluntly, I'm not too hopeful. The glaring lack of up-to-date content has left me doubting the relevance of the material and its potential to advance my skills. In short, if you're considering this course, be warned that you might be in for a time-warp back to the technological dark ages. It's a disservice to learners who are seeking current, practical knowledge, and I can't help but feel like my time and money have been wasted.

I think this course is scripted because you are not teaching about what you are doing in there. I am here for Shopify polaris, webhooks, app bridge and graphQL etc not for the react class.

Course should be called "A quick run through of the very basics of Shopify CLI, followed by a brief walk through of Polaris, followed by how to ditch NGROK and use 'Local tunnel', then, an interesting bit about adding navigation tabs to your app's admin page, but little explanation of why you need to create new routes etc. followed by an in depth walk through of how to implement script tags including uploading liquid pages and snippets and injecting them into your client's front end shop" So, if you want to see a working example of an app that can make changes to the front end shop, this is definitely the course for you. If you want to begin to master Shopify CLI, App Bridge and Polaris, perhaps not the right course.

Only Shopify Course Iv found based on the the Shopify CLI. Would recommend. would be 5 stars if he helped with launching the app for production. DB, Subscriptions etc. Hopefully soon?

Just what I was hoping to learn presented in a very easy to follow method. My only complaint is that some of the shopify terminal commands have been changed since this course was made so I had to follow the shopify docs.

Props to the instructor for making this course. Shopify itself needs to offer courses just as this as there is a lot of siloed information all over their website and creating any sort of coherent app can get unnecessarily complicated for no reason. On top of the the development env for Shopify apps really sucks since you have to keep installing/uninstalling the app. So again super props to the Instructor. In terms of the overall course, I wish there was more explanation on the the Shopify scaffolding, diagrams to explain data flow, architecture of the app. This felt just like a "code along with me". Still, this is 1000% better than what you can find on the Shopify site. Thanks for making this. Please keep making courses and get better.

Incomplete. Bad editing. Random brain freezes. No explanation on why we are doing things. Code bugs. Code changes that dont get shown and you waste hours trying to figure out why his code works and yours doesnt. Etc etc, its just bad quality.

The videos are spoton and clear. In some hard topics like script tag creation on server folder if you can explain the process happen at the end of the video or explain each line why we write that line it will be more useble for students

This is a scam. he told that will create a beautiful app in shopify with this course in introduction. but at the end he build some small stuff and nothing much. also in this course you won't get any knowledge about how to create a full functional app and how to intergrade that with shopify store. instead of that all he is doing is to practice to install just a script_tag only. if I tell about instructor, he has no any proper knowledge about shopify app development. when we ask questions he cannot give proper answers instead of confuse us. he will do lots of programming mistakes during the course which show that he don't have a proper knowledge in programming as well as shopify app development Finally I don't recommend to anyone to buy this course because you won't learn anything but to just read themefiles and install a script_tag.
