It's highly recommended if you are a beginner and don't know anything about setting up your environment.

Thanks! This was a helpful video, even to a newbie front-end web developer like myself. I'd love to see a video that talks more in depth about ssh.

This course was brief and helpful from a tool selection, but many of the tutorials were out of date. I think this course should be updated to support Max OSX Sierra. I had to do troubleshooting on a number of the installation videos to make them compatible.

Great introduction to setting up a development environment on a Mac using a combination of methods. My only advice would be to update the video to include the newest version of MacOS and installers.

This should be mandatory viewing for anyone beginning a career in software development. The instructors at my coding bootcamp were not 1/2 as prepared, informed, or helpful. That is to say, this course was extremely informative and helpful.

This has been really useful to get my development environment up and running quickly as I have never developed on Mac OS before. However it would be useful to know how much space the installations will take up (some installations are huge - Android SDK and Xcode).

Good course. But some of the topics should be more detailed. Should include some example project setups to gain better understanding of the development environment setup.

Detailed but need to explain each command and application (purpose of command and / or application being installed) or have another course on "How to properly use each application/software" used in this course. Trainer did detailing for iTerm, Sublime-Text3 and Homebrew (Very Good). Keep up the Great work William.

Very usefull package of Development IDE's, those are some of the best out there, there are still few to be installed and I think William can add them, like Ubuntu and Virtual machine, also Atom Coda, Brackets and bluefish, notepad++ There is Microsoft Visual Studio, Xamarin Studio for cross platform mobile applications and few mor but what is already there in this course and maybe the ones that I have mentioned will be a solid full bucklist of developer most used ide's.
