Setting Up a Real-World Project in JIRA

Due to newer releases of Jira Software the screens don't match up exactly (perennial challenge), but you can figure it out with a little looking,

I have created a Jira account and I am trying to duplicate what you are doing but you are moving the mouse too fast. The versions are also different but that is to be expected. Please slow down when maneuvering from one area to another.

Enjoyed the course - the chapter about icon design using photoshop was not appropriate. Otherwise Great!

I truly enjoyed the course Setting Up a Real-World Project in JIRA by Dan LeFebvre. First, the course is very practical and hands-on: this gives a strong sense of real-world project management experience. Second, the course is 1.5 hours which is the right about of time for learning a new project management skill and applying it to my personal and business projects. Two recommendations for Dan will be to add a video on how the project/sprint finished and add a video on how to graphically report and analyse issues. Overall, it is a course I will highly recommend to anyone looking for further develop their JIRA project management skills.

Really good to see this. I'm going to work as an Jira administrator and I love all of Dan LeFebvres Jira courses. They are all super good, easy to follow and filled with knowledge!

It was OK, but access to the tools was hard, and communication with the instructor and not done in a timely manner. Also you really needed to already have administration privileges in JIRA for this class.

The course is excellent and gives us the expertise to create our own project in real life. The pace and duration of the course are ideal. I now feel abel to create m projects in Jira!

It is one thing to be told the theory regarding specific features, etc. It is much more practical to be shown real-world examples. Dan does this very effectively in this course - albeit for a very small personal project. If you wish to get a taste of how Jira can be used for a small real-world project, then this course will deliver.

Great course for a beginner, I needed to get in and understand the look and feel of what a typical day's workflow would look like

Just needs updating to the new interface. Concepts and specifics still very much the same tho. Good course!

Dan goes through a lot of material very quickly. He is very nearly thinking too fast to speak what he wants to communicate. A slower pace with examples more pointed toward a user's experience ("What do you need to do? Is this it? Okay, here's how . . . No? You need to do that, instead? Well you can, simply clicking Z after you click X. You don't need Y for right now." There is also a problem with the end of (I think) lessons 6, 7 and 9 being upcut at the end - don't really know if I heard all Dan had to say.

Very Good Material. Good Presentation, Very Clear in Language and Good Audio Output. The Presenter in Knowledgeable and seems vast in other Applications. Top Marks all the way.

Great delivery of the material and step-by-step making a project in Jira. Need some Jira practice? A great working example of how you could use Jira effectively.

Excellent course. Great instructor. Only reason I didn't get a full 5 stars is a few of the sessions were abruptly ended in the middle of an explanation.

Excellent class and very informative. I recommend this class to people having their personal Agile Journey.
