Serverless Django with Docker & Google Cloud Run

Totally, Awesome, the reason i searched for this course, it is because, my workplace, they are using it, so i couldn't not understand GCP documentation. This has save me a lot

The video is outdated, I received a lot of errors using the same commands from the video to connect to the db and I spend more time debugging than actually learning from this tutorial.

This course is an excellent reference. With the knowledge gained here, I was able to: (1) do python manage.py migrate, which I had not been able to do even after reading the Google documentation; (2) after further research, to serve static files uploaded to a Google Storage bucket. Thank you very much.

Finally, a step-by-step approach beyond the simple start-your-project. Great Material still valid in Oct. 2022

I was looking for an easy way to create a serverless Django app. Before, I tried just to use the official terraform script from Google. Sadly, an error that I didn't understand ruined it. After watching some other tutorials, I finally tried this course. That was a great surprise : actually, he is speaking and moving very fast, but you can pause video, so it's not a problem. The very good point is that the course is explaining every part of the system and I learned a lot of things about "good practices" both for Django and CloudRun (security, using local/local proxy/production environment, etc.). Even if sometimes you'll do something in the video and "redo" it later another way, you understand why he does that. It's pretty long but now I feel more confortable about CloudRun usages for day-to-day dev. Definitely worth money here !

A bit more time between entering code / terminal commands would be appreciated. Had to go back a few times to double check if I am entering everything correctly.

CI/CD, scaling missing - good course but a lot is out of scope. Basic course to deploy to gcloud/run.

I guess, I was expecting the advance level stuff, so little disenchanted. Thee course is good for development and POC. But would require advance stuff for production.
