What Other Students Are Saying About My CompTIA Security+ Course:

  • I passed the Security+ exam. This course was absolutely essential to passing that exam. Only the Dion Security+ covered the topics comprehensively and thoroughly enough. No other resource I used came close. (Kolya, 5 stars)

  • I have just completed watching two different instructor corses on the same subject. I must say, Dion's has more information in a better constructed manner. This course is not easy, it is heavy with information and having you sit through shorter videos was the best part. Having watched more than just Dion's, I can say he goes over the content much better. Very glad I chose to watch a second course! (Rutger, 5 stars)

  • I love taking this wonderful course. It's full of important tips and amazing steps in order to pass CompTIA Security+. Thank you, Jason Dion, for making this incredible course! (Paul, 5 stars)

Upon completion of this course, you will earn 21 CEUs towards the renewal of your CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Linux+, Cloud+, PenTest+, CySA+, or CASP+ certifications.

This course has a lot of useful information, and makes learning the basics easy. I haven't seen enough of this course to give it 5 stars, but I'm looking forward to later sections.

Whilst I can't say the same for this test paper as I've not taken the exam yet, but Jason's A+ and Network+ exam papers have been spot on so far. When it comes to learning materials, so I've always included Jason Dion's learning materials too, as its one of the few that gives some examples of PBQs. There are some bits where he goes deeper than needed, probably edging onto Pentest+ stuff, but its only to give additional context, and so far I've found it useful.

so far the lecturer is just on another level. however he is talking very fast. I can't make it slower because when I do then it feels like its too slow.

Same information obtained from other courses so haven’t observed anything to. Distinguish it from other courses.

This has been an enlightenment. I really like how the instructor explains everything, no bs theory and funny thing, just simple and practical thing.

I really like the video presentations by the instructor. The presentations are highly focused on topic, and they are filled with useful advice regarding the security+ exam. The instructor, Jason Dion, is a master of his subject.

Jason's courses are very good and easy to understand. Sometimes the pace seems a little to quick but I think is because I personally need more time to digest the material.

Well thought out with clear, logical explanations backed up by real world examples. Difficult to judge if it is sufficient for the exam yet but the previous reviews persuaded me to purchase and complete the course.

This course provides a great amount of detail about the topics on the exam and in an easy to follow order. Demonstrations of the topics also are very helpful.

Passed SY0-601 on the first try! I did not feel prepared for the simulations and got unlucky where 4 of 5 were extremely detailed configuration of RADIUS/WAP with minimal information questions. As a seasoned sysadmin/cloud engineer I haven't touched a switch or router in a decade. That's more a reflection on my skillset than anything, but more focus on the specifics of RADIUS may help future students. Jason Dion is one of the most clear and engaged instructors on Udemy and provides the information needed to pass exams!

This course was awesome! I love Jason Dion’s teaching style. He’s simple and straight to the point. He’s very good at explaining things where you can understand especially for those who has NO prior IT experience(MEE). I passed my exam on my first try a week ago!! The only downfall I have with this course is the practice exam. I feel like his practice exam did not benefit me at all when it came to the real exam. But his overall course is awesome. I just feel like there are better practice exams on Udemy that you can use.

It's a very good course. I went through a half of it and find out that now I start thinking a different way in the prospective of cyber security. Tuned my home wi-fi hot spot according to Jason's recommendations.
