Easy to follow along and get a general feel for the program without getting discouraged. Really detailed explanations of tools and most importantly “why” you are doing a certain process a certain way. Pairs very well as a beginners intro to Zbrush. Thanks for all the great insight! Very helpful getting to know the UI this way.

This course is perfect for those who want to learn zbrush or want to pick it up back again after being away from it for a very long time. I had alot of fun with this course especially since I really want to get back at making 3d characters. making a skeleton is a really good first step and the instructor did the course in such a way that nothing was sped up and every shortcut and key combination was thoroughly explained and not in such a way that makes the course boring and lengthy. this is a good one for beginners and I highly recommend.

Not bad, good for learning the process for designing miniatures that you would play a game with/need to be handled.

I found the course very useful and well explained, I recently approached Zbrush and thanks to this course I learned many useful things for my future projects! I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to create characters and then 3D print them !! Now that I have created the skeleton I start the course to create weapons and armor !!!

So I haven't finished the fattening portion for printing yet, and I'll probably wait on posing til I go through their armor course. But these guys have delivered a VERY solid product here, do not miss your chance to learn 3d sculpting. They took a very daunting process and daunting model and made it easy to be perfectly frank. I've struggled over the last 10 years trying to learn on my own or through other courses and none compare to this one. Don't miss out on the best Zbrush instructor you'll find! Okay, so I have officially finished this first part and I couldn't be happier with my results! Not going to print yet because I'd rather have a skeleton wearing armor when I print it. So see you guys at the second course!

This course has been exactly what I've been looking for for a long time. A tutorial with an easy to follow pace and clear instructions. Josh doesn't use a custom Ui or hot keys either, which has been super helpful compared to other tutorials I've seen. Josh and Chris have also been super helpful and friendly on their discord, answering any questions one might have, and providing feedback on your projects.

Starting off I'd like to say that I print and paint lots of minis from alot of different artists and I've always been curious on learning how to 3D sculpt something for printing. I ran across this browsing Instagram and decided to try it out. I mean what's the worst that can happen right. Well when I started it was a little confusing and intimidating I must admit but as I got further into the course I started feeling more and more comfortable. I did start over a few times because I wasn't happy with how my sculpt was looking or I just messed up and decided to scrap it and start again. In doing so I became very familiar with the tools and brushes and how they work. I was able to get through half the course without following along like in the beginning. Then I would go back to the course when I got to where I left off. Listening to Joshua say bmv, bds and so on really puts it's into your brain and when you are working and switching brushes it's almost second nature and you do it without thinking. Also he made a few mistakes and showed us how to correct or fix them and to me that was very helpful. This was a fun course and very educating. I've never used zbrush in my life but taking this course has given the confidence to keep wanting to learn and taking more courses to further my learning with zbrush. Thanks Joshua it was fun and I hope to see you do another course!!
