Why take this course?

SAP Production Planning module allows to plan Production and Procurement.

In this course the student will get an understanding of all involved Master Data in this process and in how to run the Materials Requirements Planning or MRP.

All lessons contain and introductory theoretical overview and a demo in the system.

For a better understanding a simple case study has been created where we simulate the plan of the manufacturing of a bicycle in SAP.

After an introduction and general overview, in the second section we see all involved Master Data. Then how demand is created, specially Planned Independent Requirements. Finally, we will see how to run MRP and a demo example analyzing its result.

This course will allow students to get an understanding of what this module offers and how to make a basic demo.

MPS is in english master production schedule. I think the german term for MPS explains it better, in german MPS = Leitteileplanung. MPS should be used for material that needs a special attention. that can be material that is expensive e.g.. that means MPS should not only used for final products.

War informativ aber am Anfang vom Kurs hatte ich Verständnisprobleme. Der Akzent setzt sich extrem durch, deshalb musste ich mich nicht nur auf den Inhalt sondern auf auf das Englisch konzentrieren.

The instructor voice is bit different, many times it is hard to understand the pronounciation, until the sub-tittle is not switched on.

The course was difficult sometimes to understand and follow during the course. No the instructors delivery was not interesting and engaging. I would not recommend the course.

It makes easy to understand complex processes and functionalities. Now SAP PP concepts are clear to me and I feel confident using it. I don't give it 5 stars until new content as promised by instructor is added :-) New content has been added.
