In this course you will learn the basics of SAP MDG and it's various features. This course will concentrate on BRF+ and using it to configure MDG rule-based workflows along with dynamic agent determination BADI and context determination BADI. This will be very useful for both functional and technical team members, it’ll act as a guide for them to work as an SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant, it'll also be very useful for SAP MDM consultants who are trying to migrate their system to MDG. You will be learning how to create MDG profit centre workflow with multiple approvers, use the dynamic selection of agents, determine context dynamically, extend BRF+ decision tables with custom columns and the associated BADI’s using which we can control the flow of the workflow programmatically. Some of the content is good. But the instructor could do a better job of going through examples to illustrate each component as he describes it. He also sometimes refers to abbreviations without explaining what it stands or means.
Many of the important things are covered in theory not practical. But overall this course is to have a basic idea rather to learn as a technical person.
I tried to create static flow and followed exactly the sequences taught in video. I can see the option of the CR type I created however the CR submitted not flow to following processing and final check steps, and when I checked on the workflow log, there is no work item there.
Introduction was good. But the MDG portfolio and capability explanations should have been done with latest 9.2 to showcase its power. Additionally, Informatica MDM is biggest competitor and top of gartner chart from years, you could have included in competitors. I am working SAP MDG 9.2 on S/4 hana 1909.
