Why take this course?

Geometry is an exploration of truth, the kind that is self-evident and universal. Where there is universal truth, there is also great beauty and from this a feeling of sacredness naturally arises. In this class you will learn everything you need to draw and experience the sacredness of geometry.

You can draw in this class using a pencil, paper, compass, straightedge or using a free iOS app. In this course, I use Euclidea: Sketches, a 100% free iOS app, for the practical reason that it is far clearer to observe what I'm doing viewing my recorded iPad Pro screen than filming my drawing board.

To follow along with this course, you are welcome to use this app (or use another computer-aided drafting program), or draw by hand using the time-tested instruments of pencil, paper, compass and straightedge.

Very interesting and concise overview of sacred geometry! I would have enjoyed a deeper dive into the golden ratio and spiral forms, but this is a great starting point to start exploring sacred geometry.

Great info, well explained. It's sometimes a little hard to follow on with pen and paper, but at the same time it does make it a whole lot clearer to visualise where you're at not having so many circles on the screen so I'm not complaining. Thank you!

I am doing this course manually. I do not have the app. You are loosing me and I do not see how to accomplish some of these segments because the manual part is not clear. This is very frustrating. Trisecting an angle is one I could not get to how to tri-sect. Not clear. In doubling the cube I cannot drag pt F to where it crosses the line for the cube root of 2. Cube root does not mean anything if I cannot apply it to something and if I can't manually get to where it crosses the line. I think this course is not beginner and it certainly is not comprehensive.

Having studied Technical Drawing at school, I really appreciate Scott's nod to the traditional methods of creating a construction as well as embracing the digital. He also has a very calm manner in describing the processes.

The name "Sacred Geometry: Comprehensive Course" is misleading, it needs to be modified to say that it is a comprehensive course to learn how to draw various sacred geometry shapes rather than actually teaching what these shapes are and details about them. I was expecting to learn more about what sacred geometry is and where it is found and how to use it rather than watching videos of creating different shapes on an app. Various sacred geometry terms are used however they are never explained ie. what are they? where are they found? how were they discovered? where are they used? etc. I found the videos showing the instructions to make some of the shapes went extremely quickly so I wasn't able to keep up and follow along with the design. I do however understand that in the interest of time the instructor wanted to move through it as soon a possible and the item can be reviewed if someone wants to do it. There is still a lot of content left in the course so hopefully there is a large portion about what sacred geometry actually is.

It is easier to follow if you have the Euclidea: Sketches app on your ipad along with apple pencil. Although, i didn't have it.. But managed it well with pencil and the compass. The course does clarify the geometry behind the golden ratio.. but doesn't nearly take you deep into the seed of life and other geometrical figures that are present in sacred geometry.. Also, it doesn't dive deep into the understanding of the sacred geometry as well... Would have loved if it was explained in detail. So if you are looking for sacred meaning, you may have to look for your own.. Also, i felt creative mission could be more ambitious than drawing and colouring. Let it be a reason for people to live their life for..since it is supposed to be sacred and not just a geometry colouring book.
