As many others have mentioned, this course had the potential right by the start, where the instructor seemed to actually care about teaching. Out of 200 lectures, its quality started to decline at around 40 lectures in, where the detailed explanations that he managed to come up to even while facing a language barrier slowly turned into giving out code with no explaining it at all. Besides that, clearly this instructor learned Roblox Lua and immediately made a course, given that certain lectures end up with him having to deviate from the original plan because he didn't knew how to proceed with what he was going for in the beginning, such as in the 37th lesson, where he planned to make an entire bridge model, composed by several parts within, disappear by changing its Transparency property, not knowing that models didn't have the same properties as that of parts, which led to him replacing the bridge model with a singular part. That by itself proves not only that he was still learning, but that he did NOT plan his lectures at all. That mistake of his led to me having my best experience with coding, because I went out of my way not to follow his steps and learn how to make the model disappear from changing its children's properties. The best experience I had with this course was from something that the instructor couldn't teach. By the 60th lesson, you won't be learning from him, you'll be most likely learning by yourself with how little teaching there is, since he only recorded videos for the beginning of each new section. You'd be far better off learning from the Roblox API (https://create.roblox.com/docs/reference/engine) and DevForum (https://devforum.roblox.com), as those provide proper documentation written directly by either Roblox developers, or several developers that are still learning, but know far more than you do. Since you'll be reading, better read it from the best sources. TL;DR - Instructor didn't plan his lectures, and was also learning while "teaching", as shown from some lectures ending with him avoiding his original plan because he didn't know how to proceed. The more you'd advance at the course, there would have less videos and more documentation where he wouldn't explain, but tell you to copy his code and learn from it by yourself. This course is NOT WORTH IT, if you have no coding experience, you'd be better off buying Brendon Ross' course.

I really liked this course. It has all of the basics in Lua programming and even teaches you how to make your own games. I definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn Roblox Studio Lua programming.

Majority of the code is taken from free available resources. Only bits and pieces were in video form. Honestly, the Blender and Substance painting stuff seems the most in depth.

The tutorials feel unrehearsed. This is the second video where errors were made. The last one was putting the script in the wrong container and only realising in the next video. Also we're not seeing good practice LUA, such as a creating variables when referencing properties. For example, in this lecture for the sake of getting the learner to understand LUA best practices it would have been good to see a variable used to store Brickcolor and to update it. i.e. BrickColor = game.workspace.... and then update BrickColor.

You provide solution for your tasks, but you don't explain them. For example: rain of cupcakes - how does it work? Also, most of the part it is not video course, but texts... with poor explanation about tasks. One and only advance of this course is that all lessons in one place.

It's pretty good so far, even though I already knew some stuff, after watching those 2 sections I felt like the scripting world be easier to understand.

I didn't meet your expectations. The lecture is boring. His English pronunciation is not correct. The music in the background is very distracting and makes it hard to concentrate to what he is saying. Half of the classes are documentary education, not video. During the video lecture, he also says a lot of unimportant things. You may seem to have a lot of class time, The important class time is less than I thought. I recommend someone else's lecture.

The best thing about this course is their Discord server. It's really really helpful because I can know more people more Developers, and also get some help while helping others.

Helped me make one of the games that was a work in progress. Also taught me things that were useful going forward, with game Ideas that I didn't know how to code before taking the course!

Don't really want to give it 5 Stars just yet, only completed the 1st 2 sections. The tutor is very good at explaining what to do. Very easy to follow. Looking forward to completing the rest of the course.

In some of the lectures he was not able to get the code to work. There is valuable information presented. The music in the background is very distracting and makes it hard to concentrate to what he is saying. The instructor should look to the Brendon Ross Roblox courses for examples on how to improve the professionalism of this course.

Really hard to understand the instructor. I understand the language barrier, but it's really hard to pick up the accent. I also quickly browsed through the course and it looks to me as if there is a lot of scripting for the game, and no actual FPS game like what is shown in the course description video, before buying. I could be wrong on that, and will gladly edit my review if that's the case.
