Great for a FREE course. Typed the code in as Mr Fire explained it and everything worked as advertised. Definitely buying the next course to continue to learn Lua and hopefully understand more of the roblox intricacies.

There were a few things which were not made clear, such as why some things used a colon and others used a period. Also, I would have liked so see some introduction to basic part animations. Otherwise, a good beginner tutorial.

It’s good but there are many things he doesn’t explain. Things like Vector3 or CFrame should be a lecture by themself. But if your getting it for free then it’s not bad.

I've always wanted to get into Lua scripting and could never find any good tutorials or courses online, until I came across this one. I 100% would recommend this course to beginners who want to start their journey in Lua scripting. It goes over so much content and definitely helped me understand Lua code! I'm planning to purchase the second beginner course which goes into much more detail with more complex projects and I can't wait! 10/10

Fantastic beginner course that's free. I will definitely be purchasing your other two courses, especially the intermediate one, as it seems like it genuinely goes into more intermediate concepts and comes out with you knowing far more than just the basic stuff and is far better than any other ones covering the same topic on a more advanced level. I only have two criticisms for this free course: the fact that I believe you forgot to attach the UI plugin, unless I just can't find it, and that you do kind of move a little bit too fast on some parts, which ends up leaving the student a little bit confused on the explanation front. I hope this isn't an issue with the paid courses, as they have FAR more runtime.

I want to buy one of your lua courses, but I decided to first see you explain using this free course. I have to say that you move pretty fast, and a lot of points were not explained well. A beginner would find this very overwhelming, like me. It is however very informative, if I am able to understand that is. It's a great course, but please slow down the pace and explain those details that may confuse others. Go over all of it, literally.
