Why take this course?

In this course, you will learn how to create a full structural model using foundations, columns, beams, beam system, floors. The course will show you how to prepare the model for Structural Analysis software packages, by defining loads, and load combinations. You will learn how to annotate, tag, detail, your model, along with creating and printing sheets. Other advanced topics will be discussed in the course like creating several types of schedules, how to import CAD files, and link Revit files, how to create your own family. The course will show you how to deal with Trusses, Bracing, Steel connections, along with concrete reinforcement. Finally you see how to deal with worksharing in Revit.

This course is built over exercises. You will have two sets of files: PDF files which carries instructions, and RVT files which will be your starting point for each topic. At the end of each video, you will be instructed to open a certain file to practice what you learned.

I would give it 5 stars, but the sound issue in all of he videos hasn't been resolved. It is important to hear the instructions to understand every single step of the course. I hope you can respond or resolve this issue.

Very well made training course. The best aspect of this course is the fact that at the end of each lesson you have to solve the exercises, so you really have the possibility to touch with your hands the functions of Revit. I reccommend it!

Great course. Very comprehensive and well explained. At times, I found myself losing my focus, as the videos are very long and they sometimes don't follow a chronlogical order. I would have benefit from a bit more conciseness, but other than that I think this is a great course. Sections 18 & 19 are very basic and they need more videos and details.
