It is well-designed especially for research in sociology and similar fields. I do not find much application of the concepts for my field of research, which is not the fault of the author but mine as I did not read the course description properly.

it's highly enlightening so far and it's bringing back memories of all I was thought in school but I've forgotten. I'll definitely recommend this course to anyone with or without research experience especially in the social sciences.

Information overload with less practical and real-life scenarios. The scenario tends to revolve around the same area and lots of information shared was not necessary especially for beginners.

Really good designed! Straight to point with clear examples. Saves years comparing to when trying to figure out it just by yourself. It is a pity I did not face his courses 2 years ago, my life would have been much easier, and I would have had more time for other things in my life :)

I like the simple presentation of the approach to research and how the three basic aspects of research (problem, question and methodology) are tied together. The introduction to data analysis was also well delivered; it gave a simple understanding of how data can be handled in different scenarios (research designs).

Dr. Klapper has a very clear step by step teaching style that is very helpful. The content was excellent and also he’s very good about answering as many questions as he can when I asked after I went through his course which was above and beyond what I expected. Highly recommend it!

The explanations are easy to understand...The only thing left to do is knowing how to contextualize based on my program area.

The beginning of this course looks very similar to the same author's course on writing scientific papers. In general, this is a very generic material put in a very structured and constructive way. The author touches main components of research design. One must know the own field of research and statistical methods in order to get maximum out of this course.
