Why take this course?

Corazon Bryant always had an artistic bone in her body. When she was only 2 years old, she would make detailed drawings on her mother's wall. Her mother loved the drawings so much, she decided to keep them. With the encouragement of her mother, she continued drawing and she only got better as time went by. When Corazon was in middle and high school, she earned money making portraits for her classmates and even for her teachers. She pursued a college degree in Media Arts & Animation and later worked for architectural and entertainment companies such as Camm Productions, ID DI Design, and PDT International. She also had an opportunity to do some freelance work for Mega Pickle Entertainment. While working as a 3D artist, she had a chance to teach 3D animation classes in an A+ school. This is when she found her true love - which is not only to talk about 3D endlessly but to also inspire greatness in young upcoming artists. Corazon is currently working on a new project called Victory 3D with fellow industry-experienced artists to provide an affordable and effective learning system that will make it easier for students to get a job in the 3D industry.

Course Info

In this course, I will teach you the complete process of creating a professional full body character that is ready for movies or for game cinematics.

We will begin by sculpting our character from scratch using a sphere. We will use a variety of Blender sculpting tools such as the Clay Strips brush, the Grab brush, Draw Sharp, Scrape, masking and many more. Once we have our primary forms down for our character, we will move on to retopologizing so we can get a clean mesh that will allow us to add more secondary and micro skin and cloth details. I will show you the correct way to create a nice topology for your character so it can be fully ready for production. We will dive into unwrapping our character, optimizing and organizing our UVs so we can get the most out of it for better higher quality resolution textures. With Blender’s built-in paint mode, we will hand paint our character’s skin and clothing from scratch. I will show you how to create textures and materials to achieve realistic looking eyes, fabric, leather, and metal. We will go through the baking process to create our normal maps for our character. To make realistic hair, we will use Blender’s particle system. I will show you the proper method of styling hair so you will have full control and produce the type of hair style that you really want.

We will also go to the steps of modeling a detailed medallion and an amazing looking sword that will serve as a prop for our character. Last you will light and render a beautiful image that you can use to boost your portfolio.

This course is for intermediate artists so before you dive into this, make sure that you have at least a basic understanding of Blender.

If you are looking to create a character that is 100% made in Blender, then this course is for you. You will learn sculpting, 3d modeling, unwrapping, texturing, baking, lighting, rendering, and compositing all just using one single outstanding program.

Do you want to see a dramatic change in your skills? Now is the time to implement new strategies and tactics that will get you to start producing the results that you want and go beyond what is required for your portfolio. With this course, you can make sure that you will see a huge improvement in your skills like never before. the person can not make tutorials for anyone without the ability to understand broken English and the time until the heat death of the universe

Actually, the lector can't be called a very good sculptor in my opinion. Her sculpted rectus abdominis muscles are as flat as a board, and the shape of feet can even be called ugly. Also, this work doesn't really resemble Henry Cavill. Nevertheless, this is a very good course. She walks us through her process from start to finish, which gives you more knowledge than you can get from a collection of snippets of tips on Youtube. This course will be a great reference when you want to create realistic characters with your own hands.

Yes, this course is exactly what I was looking for. While I'm still in the process of attending it, I have found it quite valuable thus far.

the course is so bad, the instructor doesn't even uploaded the references, so you need to take a lot of time downloading image per image, and the copyright advice is funny because she doesn't even have the rights over this content, so I do not recommend this course, and I am going to request a refund, what a lost of time.

this course was amazing and taught me a lot about detailing a character that I was not able to find anywhere else, but the only critique that I have about this course is that the face of the character is not as exact as I thought it would be in this course I know I could see it in the courses instructions but I actually was able to get a more similar to the actor of witcher than this course's instructor but over all it was fantastic and I know this is for intermediate blender users so that is why I left a four and half star.

Unless for some decisions that made us have some unnecessary rework, this course is very good. On my point of vew, it's about a Zbrush user trying to adapt his techniques on Blender, and not a native Blender user. Many situations could be resolved with a simple shortcut, but the tutor keep the long way to reach the same goal. Apart from that, I recomend. It's a good course!

The teacher hasn't put the keys she is pressing on the screen. I've watched a lot of Blender tutorials, but this one was the hardest to follow. It would be a lot easier, if she had put the keys she is pressing on the screen, just like other courses. Another problem is that she doesn't help the students anymore. I am stuck in UV part and waiting for help for weeks now, but still haven't received any. It's like she made the course and left it here without any work afterward.

This is more like a lengthy YouTube series where you follow along with a person who is very good at the job, in 45 minute chunks. There are no lesson plans, just watch what she is doing and try to do it yourself. It's good for what it is, but when I pay for a course I want the instructor to have planned out what they are presenting and cut extraneous content. I cannot sit through another 50 hours of video when individual lessons are triple the length they should be, because the instructor is winging it, recording herself performing the task, and providing live commentary.

So far, the instructor seems to really know their work. Very clear communication, a good flow, and explains every tool and technique. The topic is visualized very well, so in my opinion, this is a very easily digestible course for a large variety of people between various levels of experience. Definitely recommended.

Corazon is a great teacher. The workflow she uses is exactly what I was looking for, and is the best fit I've found so far out of a good number of courses that I've taken. The end product feels very professional. What's funny is during the course, she talks about common pitfalls made by novices, and I've fallen into so many of these before this course. I only wish that I found this class sooner - it would have saved me time and money.

this is the second course which i have done with Corazon Bryant (victory 3D) .you don't have to depend on other software since every thing is taught here uses blender so you don't have to depend on other software for texturing look dev etc .She enplane every thing in detail specially the texturing part so she left no stones unturned . so she knows what she is teaching so I recommend this course .only thing is it is a big course so you have to take time each day to finish this course .

Great course. It goes really deep on anatomy and proportions of the human form which is something other courses on character creating are really lacking. As a constructive feedback, it is very apparent for someone who has been using Blender for several years that the instructor learned in a different software and transitioned to blender, as some of the steps of her workflow have faster or more optimized ways to do in Blender. This shouldn't be a problem as I don't thing this is a course for beginners, so most of this 'workflow optimizations' should be known by anyone who has been using blender as their primary software. On other notes, the recording hardware is lacking and some of the chapters would really benefit from a voice over after the recording as you can constantly hear the instructors PC ready to take off to the moon. Though, I must say that I really appreciate that the promotional material from the course is LITERALLY what she is modelling on the spot, which doesn't happen with other courses where you have a very nice promotional models but the actual course doesn't get into modelling that character in the same amount of detail. So here you really get the full process for the character shown. As a final note, I really appreciate the instructor showing her reference images several times during the course and explaining what she looks for on reference images for several parts of the model. Although I would have liked some kind of learning tool involving general anatomic references that could be applied on any project (muscles, bones, general proportions of humans male or female). Overall great value and I totally recommend it over other courses made by people better known on the blender community. It really shows that the instructor is a professional with proper training on the subjects.

I bought this course and a similar course without any clue as to how to sculpt a realistic person or anatomy, for that matter, and what I have learnt far exceeds what I expected to learn.
