Description

What's the difference between an entrepreneur or product manager that finds the right idea, brings stakeholders on board, and effectively communicates their vision and one that doesn't? A prototype. Yes, the ability to make prototypes can work wonders with your startup or organization. A prototype allows you to not just imagine a product, but make it real. No more spreadsheets or vague verbal descriptions. Show your users and your team exactly what you want and get taken seriously.

Whether you're a solopreneur or part of a larger organization you need to be able to effectively turn ideas into real, tangible working demos. This course is focused on giving you, the digital professional, the ability to rapidly assemble and deploy working web and mobile prototypes in just a few hours. The best part about this course is that we're going to do it without code. No programming, no technical books to study, no distractions from what you do best.

Entrepreneurs

  • Launch your MVP for free and start getting real user feedback today.

  • Cut through the fundraising noise and show investors something they can understand, a real product.

  • Stop guessing which feature is essential to your vision. Prototype it and test it this morning and have your answers this afternoon.

  • Cut your contracting costs by 50% and save yourself the headaches of misunderstandings and poorly compiled project specs.

Product Managers

  • Stop bugging your developer team to make incremental changes that they don't understand. Show them exactly what you need done and keep them out of the “is it worth it" debate.

  • Test new features and get user feedback before you make major changes.

  • Get organizational approval for initiatives by letting then use the exact thing you're proposing.

Designers

  • Bring some life to your PSDs and make them interactive.

  • Bridge the gap between design and development by removing any chance for miscommunication or misunderstanding.

  • Get more accurate feedback from users and reviewers by deploying your designs in their browser and phones.

Growth hackers

  • Cut your experiment iteration time in half and stop overloading your developer resources.

Web and marketing agencies

  • Get more projects approved and increase your billable hours by pitching your clients with prototypes.

  • Never waste time and money building something incorrectly. Prototype it and find out exactly whether you're on the right path.

  • Win over prospective clients by rapidly building their proposal and demo-ing it back to them. A huge advantage in the client acquisition game.

There's no course like this online. I'm going to walk you through how you can take an idea, conceptualize the requirements, and roll out a polished and professional prototype, without touching any code.

If you're trying to be successful online, do yourself a favor and learn this incredibly valuable skill.

It's ok. I would have liked a bit more detail on Balsamiq but it's Pidoco the one that's been used and showcased the most

It’s a lot of talking off the bat without any visuals. Even if there were different visual to the side it would be helpful. It also a lot of information all at once if your new to learning anything about prototyping. I am new to wanting to learn UX and I had to stop the video several times to YouTube several things.

After this course, I feel much more confident in wireframing and prototyping. Would have liked if high-fidelity part had been covered a bit more, along with other prototyping tools like figma.

The first lectures are definitely dated! The vocab "storyboards", "information architecture", and one more thing were considered to be non-essential but are essential to UX/Product Design nowadays.

The UI was old and now the application interfaces have been updated. Other than that it was good, the content was to the point. I enjoyed it. Thanks,

To be honest, I always enjoy the way Evan Kimbrell teaches the lessons. His sense of humor make the learning process enjoyable and relaxing as well as a provided conducive atmosphere. Now before looking for a course on Udemy I first search if Evan did not prepare a course on that topic. He's amongst my top 5 online instructors.

Mostly discussed on application development only, however Design thinking can be used for other domains as well.

It was a great training, fast paced, can be watched in a day, doesn't go too deep into details as it's not entirely necessary, really liked it.

Because it covers pretty much what I expected about wireframing and also it sets real expectation between the person who is wireframing and the developers that will see at the prototype. It saves you a lot of time between what is relevant and what not.

First time trying to watch udemy on a vpn from a coffee shop. Seems to be good until it cuts out or pauses. Has started up again after delay. We will see. Open to suggestions here. -Steve

I found the sessions too chatty (with 2x regular speed) and I don't feel I have learned anything useful yet. I was hoping to accelerate my ability to wireframe/prototype. I hope the next few sections will do that. Disclamer: I am a software engineer and have been using Visio for wireframes and diagrams.
