What you will learn

Understand how quitting for a short period of time can help them focus on more important goals.

Description

*Last Updated August 2018*

In this course I provide some in-depth insight on how quitting video games for an entire 30 days helped me boost my productivity and change my outlook on playing video games in general.

I personally battled with video game addiction years ago playing games such as World of Warcraft and EverQuest. This course reflects on those experiences and how they affected my life.

If you decide to take this challenge of quitting video games for 30 days I'm going to share with you some simple ways you can:

  • Boost overall productivity

  • Work on more of your personal goals

  • Use a "to do" list goal approach to accomplishing more in your free time

Taking a break for 30 days is a good way to step back a bit if you've been playing games for all your life like I had. I found I'm now able to easily get more done and not commit so much time just to playing games. It's improved my self discipline and mental state of mind.

Of course quitting games entirely is a big step, my biggest recommendation is to take this course and commit for 30 days. After that you can choose to go back or simply play a lot less in your free time then you may have been before.

This course was great as I do play a lot of video games and my mum says I spend to much time on the screen and these tips will help me in the future.

It's a well detailed course tailored by personal experiences, the instructor makes you feel comfortable with your problem and shows efficient ways to utilize that free time that were spent because of excessive gaming.

A common sense course, with some good practical advice. Also some ideas about some, I think, really good tools. But I feel like something is missing that is not making me feel like quitting gaming right now :D. But that's just my opinion and feeling. The course needs to be continued by some other time management and/or self-development courses. All in all, I think it is a reasonably good course.
