No experience necessary, this is a beginners course that will teach you the foundations of both Qt 6 and C++. This course is meant as a direct replacement for an introduction to C++ class. This course starts off with simple topics such as "what is a variable" and ends with some basic Qt classes and how to work with them. The main focus of this course is to get the student a solid foundation to move forward from. At the end of this course you will be able to create basic applications using C++ and Qt 6. This course is a complete re-record of my award winning Qt 5 for beginners course, covering new material along with using CMAKE instead of QMAKE.

We will start with basic foundational concepts such as variables and each section moves into more complex topics such as templates, classes, error handling and how to use some of the Qt 6 classes includes in the core library. This course uses C++ and Qt Creator which is the best IDE for developing cross platform applications using Qt that can run on Windows, Mac, Linux, embedded devices such as a raspberry pi, iPhone and Android.

I'm intermediate to advanced C++ programmer (been a C programmer since 1984). Qt newbie. Love the intro of this course. Looking for future work... Integrating Qt with Rust. I believe once you can integrate Qt with C++ it will be reasonable (not easy) to integrate Qt/Qml with rust.

I think some topics you will need to search by yourself to have a better idea of them, for example, if you are new in C++ and haven't worked with memory management.

This is an excellent starting course for QT framework, this is more of C++ basics in QT sense. I would advise anyone who is willing to take this course should have basic knowledge of C++ classes and STL, Thank you for this wonderful course!

Not what I expected, the course should be called "C++ for beginners". I am not really sure what this course has to do with Qt, most sections cover basic programming fundamentals like variables, input and output, conditional statements, functions, classes, etc. I expected to learn the Qt framework for beginners, but the only thing this course is teaching me is stuff that I already know (basic programming fundamentals).

I just came from a 45hour C++ course and decided to continue into Qt but I am little disappointed. 1: The teaching style is erratic and unstructured with many tangents 2: The intro is about 1 hour long and basically repeats the same stuff. 3: The course is mainly on basic C++ concepts which are poorly explained 4: the 2 things the course does teach (qObject and Signal and slots) are well explained but poorly demonstrated. and for the love of Christ its called a Destructor not a De-constructor
