Having some blender and programming experience overall I enjoyed this course. The intro and mid sections are very well thought out with good simple projects to test what you learned. Rating it 4/5 because I felt the last section was rushed and the steps were not explained as well as the previous sections. The last section was also absent of test projects to go over what you learned.

Great introduction to Python Scripting in Blender. The course had a great start with emphasis on fundamentals and I enjoyed the challenges in the beginning. I felt a lot of learning was hurried towards the end without proper explanation of the way of doing things. Overall, I found it helpful, but will be looking over to further resources to solidify my learning. Thanks for the course!

Expérience très claire et progressive. Juste un petit regret : le sous-titrage en français, ma langue maternelle. Je suis capable de comprendre l'anglais des vidéos (vitesse x0.5) mais c'est plus reposant. Pour info, à la maison je me forme notamment sur Blender en utilisant YouTube. Pour se faire, j'utilise 4K vidéo downloader pour télécharger les vidéos les plus formatrices et leurs sous-titres en français. Le niveau de traduction est suffisant pour comprendre l'interlocuteur. Trouver la même chose sur Udemy serait un plus.

Overall it really does fills a gap in whats currently available online. Some of the functions are not fully explained, most of this relatively short course is just typing along in the text editor thus only three stars.

Not worth the full price. Inconsistent use of apostrophes and quotes for string literals is sloppy. Section 5 is far too short and lacks any kind of detailed explanation. Creating a 2D line graph isn't a "practical project" for a 3D application

Good lectures. It is practical for blender, but it is't practical in general use. It will be good to show, how can i use the animated graph in a slide show, or how can i convert it in a video. It will be good to talk about initiation: to set the enviroment to a default stat - at least set the 3D Cursor to the World Origin. In summary, I can say that it met my expectations, but did not exceed them.

The course will give you a general overview of Blender and how to write Python scripts for it. You will not learn much about Blender itself, nor is it a Python programming course. Some very basic things (i.e. python commenting and types) were overly explained, while more complicated things were just brushed over. Blender concepts and chosen options were not explained well unfortunately. Quizzes were useless imo. Having said that, I found the course useful, as it gave me a glimpse of Blender and of writing basic Blender scripts.

The course is not very enganging; it's a lot of "showing things" instead of explaining them. Better make notes; since it's very difficult to remember stuff this way.
