Overall I am disappointed because of the low quality of this course. Content: I know that this is only a 1 hour course, but it tries to cover too much in that short time and so it touches most of the concepts only very briefly and leaves a lot of gaps. The part about HA-setup for Prometheus is so abstract and superficial that I would cut it out entirely. Presentation: The audio has low recording quality and there is clicking, the video is basically an uncut desktop recording of the presenter switching between windows, terminals and slides, where a lot of the short time of this course is wasted by showing how the binaries are downloaded from the project's websites and so on. Those are the things I remember right now, there might be more, but working on that would improve this course a lot. In it's current state, I would not spend money on it again, as there are free videos on Youtube which are much better than this.

Course met my expectations. It covers Prometheus, Grafana and AlertManager. Installation (downloadable from Internet), quick verification of the set up. I request instructor to please give me the ready to use code for monitoring Tomcat / JVM and JMS (ActiveMQ). :-)

An excellent high level introduction to monitoring using Grafana & Prometheus. The instructor was pleasant to listen to and easy to understand. Since monitoring is an advanced topic, I'm not sure I learned everything I could, but it was a very good fast start course.
