This has been a very good match for me. Particularly I find the information on getting to know the deceased and attachments they had important, as do I value the necessity to keep a place in their hearts whilst accepting and adapting to a new life without the physicality of the deceased important aspects of recovery and counselling.

I teach grief recovery/healing with workshops and seminars. My teachings come out of my own experience when my son's father died suddenly from a heart attack at the age of 37. He and I had recently made a date to meet up, have dinner and talk about us getting back together as a couple. I had always said if I wasn't married at 35 years old and if David and I were single and available, I was going to marry him. Well, he died 2 months and 5 days before my 35th birthday. His sudden passing shook my world, and my life has never been the same without him in it. So, this course is helping me as I have difficult "moments" dealing with his death, and also, this course is helping me as I continue helping others through their grief journey.
